What you will do
We are a seeking an Occupational, Health & Safety (OHS) Intern, who will be responsible for supporting local OHS systems in the Market Company to ensure compliance with OHS Policies and local legal requirements.
In this role, you will be an individual contributor who will create an increased safety culture within Tetra Pak. You will help support the team with:
Provide assistance to the OHS team in maintaining systems
Support records of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions via MyOHS (Internal System).
Collaborate along with teams supporting the investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
Participate in safety inspections and audits.
Maintain and update safety records.
Help organize health and safety training for employees.
Suggested majors: Occupational health and safety, Emergency Administration and Planning, Engineering, and Business Administration or related fields.

Home-Based Guidelines
As a LOSA Observer, you will be considered Home-Based under the following requirements:
You may live anywhere within the continental U.S. east of Denver. (Note: Denver and Colorado Springs are acceptable home bases.)
You must designate a home airport within two hours of surface travel from your residence.
Your home airport must be served by at least two major airlines (Delta, American, United, or Southwest), with a minimum of three flights per day per airline.
Regional feeder carriers (e.g., Envoy, Piedmont) operating under a major airline's code (AA, United, Delta) may count toward the flight requirement.
If your airport loses frequency, you will be required to re-establish your home base at another qualifying airport.
Travel begins and ends at your designated home base; we will not reposition you from other airports.
You may change your home base once every six months by submitting a written request to Human Resources at least 30 days in advance. Approval will be based on eligibility criteria.
You are responsible for all parking and ground transportation expenses at your home base.

Essential Functions
Serves as Program Quality Enhancement Manager for Central and Southern Regions.
Develops statewide policies for the management and implementation of OLPD's acquisition and evaluation of the delivery of training program services by staff and contractors including, but not limited to the development, monitoring, evaluation, initiation, and operation of training programs, budgetary allocations, the creation and implementation of program plans, corrective action plans, and contactor staff assignments.
Analyzes university contractor performance reports and prepares qualitative analysis.
Represents OLPD at high-level meetings with internal and external decision-makers, work groups, university administrators, advisory groups, legislators, governmental agencies, and other entities on matters concerning OLPD and DCFS delivery of training and professional development programs.
Creates and manages an OLPD centralized internal database of contract monitoring and other quality
enhancement records for each university contractor which evidences the basis of DCFS fund expenditures and disbursements.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a master's degree in social work, a related human services field, business administration, or a juris doctorate.
Requires three years of administrative child welfare experience.

What you will be doing:
* Receives equipment requests, determines availability/location and ships units
* Receives and tracks all RMA's for RF gun service in vendor maintenance system
* Maintains equipment inventory, forecasts units needed and orders from vendor
* Based on change of technology decisions by IT, forecasts number of new units needed for inventory, orders from vendor, plans and implements change over to new equipment
* Produces RF gun rental billing using MHR equipment system and Access
* Codes invoices with accounts to bill and adds equipment to company billing as necessary
* Assigns unit numbers for all new RF gun rentals
* Adds unit numbers to equipment file and updates file to note status and location of equipment
* Produces and ship labels for any direct ship equipment including batteries and chargers
* Coordinates return of rental equipment for external customers in the Nashville area including processing paperwork to track and bill equipment properly
* Receives used RF guns, tests and resets with bar code scan; enters damaged equipment into maintenance program
* Implements compliance procedures for hazardous material shipping of lithium batteries
* Other duties as requested
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
* Minimum 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* PC proficiency to include Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook
