Essential Job Functions:

Required Qualifications:
We are seeking career professionals who demonstrate technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a passion for CAD/BIM. The ideal candidate will have:
* Educational Background: Associate degree in Drafting/CADD or Certificate from a technical school indicating CADD proficiency
* Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of technical professional experience in the AEC industry. Experience organizing and maintaining CAD/BIM project structures, including file naming, sheet numbering, and reference file management
* Knowledge: Knowledge of AEC industry practices and the U.S. National CAD Standard (NCS)
* Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet quality standards and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
* Software Proficiency: Proficient in current versions of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Revit. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for project documentation and tracking.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline team environment
* Travel Flexibility: Willingness to participate in short-term international travel assignments as needed

Physical Requirements:
* Stand or Sit. Must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 50% of the time.
* Use hands/fingers to handle or feel. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
* Office Environment. Majority of work is done in office environment.
* Occasional Travel. While traveling may have limited exposure to extreme heat/cold. Since travel is likely to be international in nature employees will need to sit for extended period of time on airplane.
Additional Information:
* Employment Type. The position is full time regular, 40 hours per week. Additional paid overtime is available with manager approval.
* Work Schedule. Standard office hours are Monday thru Friday from 830 am to 500 pm including an unpaid thirty minute lunch break.
* Work Location. The work location is flexible within the United States.
* Remote. This position has the option to work from home five days per week in accordance with Tetra Tech's Remote Work Policy.
* Salary and Benefits. The salary range for this position is $73,000 to $80,000. Radiation Safety Training Professional

The Opportunity Tetra Tech is seeking a Radiation Safety Training Professional with experience in local, state, federal, or private sector emergency preparedness/response/recovery programs as they relate to Radiation Safety, to assist with various emergency preparedness, response, and recovery - training and exercises.
This position is based out of our Cincinnati, OH operating unit.
Your Role
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for working independently. Travel, work in client offices, oral presentations and training, and written report preparation will be required.
The preferred candidate will be able to manage project schedules and budgets.
The primary responsibility will be to support government and private sector radiation and hazardous materials and/or oil preparedness, response, and recovery training, and program development activities.
Primary activities will occur throughout the United States.
Qualifications
* At least 20 years of radiation safety, preparedness, response, and recovery experience with a local, state, federal or private sector organizations is preferred. Must have strong oral and written communication, client relations, and project management skills. Certified Health Physicist (CHP)s are preferred.
* Recent experience and certifications for government emergency planning, training, and exercise activities - specifically with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS) are critical.
* Must be highly motivated, customer focused, and work well in a team environment.
* Must have initiative and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision and oversight.
* Must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, travel, and be on-call as needed.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills, as well as proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
* Business development experience is a plus.
Degree / Certifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 20 years of relevant or related experience.
Advanced degrees and additional certifications or training are a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment is a mix of in-office work, with visits to training facilities/sites and client offices as needed.

Your Role:
* Assist in the design and analysis of structural components and systems for energy and land development projects.
* Prepare detailed engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
* Review and interpret topographic surveys and geotechnical investigation reports.
* Conduct field site inspections of existing and new construction to verify compliance with design specifications.
* Estimate project materials, equipment, and labor costs to support feasibility analyses.
* Contribute to construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews, RFIs, and field change requests.
* Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project teams to ensure integration of civil, structural, and environmental aspects.
* Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
* Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
* 0-7 years of relevant engineering experience.

* Experience using AutoCAD for plan development.
* Knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC design codes.
* Familiarity with structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, LPile, and/or Revit.
* Mathcad experience a plus.
