The Opportunity: Tetra Tech is adding a Renewable Energy Senior Project Managers and Seller/Doers on a national basis to grow our renewable practice and support a variety of projects from concept to completion in a dynamic consulting environment. Qualifications: * Possess a Bachelor's degree but preferably a graduate degree in environmental sciences, urban/regional planning, environmental policy, environmental studies, engineering, and/or related field. * Minimum of 10+ years of experience, with more experience preferred, with account management, business development, environmental assessments and federal, state, and local regulatory compliance/permitting in the US. * Must have existing client relationships in the solar PV, and BESS and/or renewable energy market and a proven track record of winning new work. * Working knowledge of all aspects of planning, permitting, design and construction related to renewable energy generation facilities. * Proven success in providing on leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. * Efficient time management -handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines. * Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational teambuilding skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations. * Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. * Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives. * Experience preparing and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary. * Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget. * Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program teams, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance. * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills to convey technical information to clients and business and financial reports to management. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines. * Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. In this role, we'll count on you to: * Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, typically involving a large project staff. * Establish client relations and be involved in business development, marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. * Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule. * Implement QA/QC procedures. * Work on diverse remedial engineering projects that with a wide range of contaminants (VOCs/SVOCs/metals/PCBs/ NAPL) in all types of media (soil/groundwater/sediment/bedrock/abandoned mines, etc.) utilizing innovative remedial technologies (P&T/removal/containment/dredging/ISS/chemical oxidation/bioremediation/capping). * Lead team of staff engineers in preparation of design deliverables including engineering design reports, construction drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates and construction schedules with support from HDR's national practice leads. * Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve technical issues and negotiate remedial actions. * Will also serve as a consultant and supervisor of waste and remedial construction management projects as needed. * Work independently on technical tasks involving data analysis, interpreting results, and preparing technical reports, plans and specifications. * Delegate and supervise junior engineers on waste and remediation design components and staff of professionals and technicians on remedial investigations. * Train and mentor personnel as established by strategic plans. Preferred Qualifications * A minimum of 10 years of related experience required. * MSW/CCR facility highly preferred. * Proven leadership and Project Management skills required. * Demonstrated understanding of client relationship management and evidence of experience interacting directly with clients higher preferred. * Proficient with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. * Must be detail-oriented and a team player with great communication, technical writing, analytical, organizational, and time management skills. * Demonstrated experience in client marketing and proposal development. * Demonstrated experience in project development and execution in the Public and Private sectors. * Experience mentoring and supervising junior engineers. * Preference given to local candidates #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering * 7 years related experience * A minimum 2 years project management experience * Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
