Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior CivilEngineer for our Tampa, Florida office. This is a vacant position for which we are actively recruiting. Essential Job Functions:
* Review and authenticate functional and detailed designs of site preparation, storm water management, site grading, access roads, and fencing for projects in the power industry.
* Liaise with other discipline leads, project managers, vendors, contractors and clients to facilitate smooth flow of information for use in preparing preliminary and detailed design and provide design clarifications and solutions during construction.
* Apply knowledge of North American codes, regulations and standards and have a good working knowledge of local Municipal Specifications, Guidelines and best industry practices.
* Provide technical leadership to the Civil team on projects.
* Participate in design reviews on various projects and provide technical input.
* Monitor project schedule and budgets within your area of responsibility and report status on a regular basis
* Attend project meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
* 10+ years experience in civilengineering, specifically in transmission lines, high voltage substations, industrial, power generation, hydro, and/or utility projects is considered an asset.
* Experience in industrial design including but not limited to: site development, grading and drainage design, site utilities / tie-ins, erosion control, and road design
* Working knowledge of civil design standards in the USA
* Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
* Must possess a Bachelors Degree in CivilEngineering and be licensed to practice as a professional engineer in the USA
* Knowledge of the following software packages is an asset: Civil 3D, XP Storm, Water Cad, AutoTurn and AutoDesk AVT.
* Must be able to work independently and with others on multiple projects.
* Able to work as part of a multi-discipline design team.
* Experience in business development and structural design would be an asset.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit or stand as required and remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the workday.

Job Summary
Langan is seeking a Site / Civil Project Engineer to join its collaborative team in Cleveland, OH. This individual will serve a key function in performing and coordinating the planning, design and permitting of civilengineering, land development and infrastructure projects, and coaching, training, and overseeing staff. Job Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, design and permitting of civilengineering, land development and infrastructure projects. Coordinates and provides client communication;
* Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;
* Develop new clients for the firm and maintain relationships with existing clients;

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering;

Candidates should have experience with site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D

Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents

Responsibilities
Designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions
Managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and providing regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and external clients to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
Maintain a high degree of quality sets of plans along with checking the work of others
Create work plans and adhere to the budget set by the client and performing strong project management knowledge
Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects
Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules

Qualifications
4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Relevant municipal engineering experience including designing pump stations, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities
Experience performing hydraulic modeling (using programs such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior CivilEngineer for our Tampa, Florida office. This is a vacant position for which we are actively recruiting. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge. Essential Job Functions:
* Review and authenticate functional and detailed designs of site preparation, storm water management, site grading, access roads, and fencing for projects in the power industry.
* Liaise with other discipline leads, project managers, vendors, contractors and clients to facilitate smooth flow of information for use in preparing preliminary and detailed design and provide design clarifications and solutions during construction.
* Apply knowledge of North American codes, regulations and standards and have a good working knowledge of local Municipal Specifications, Guidelines and best industry practices.
* Provide technical leadership to the Civil team on projects.
* Participate in design reviews on various projects and provide technical input.
* Monitor project schedule and budgets within your area of responsibility and report status on a regular basis
* Attend project meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
* 10+ years experience in civilengineering, specifically in transmission lines, high voltage substations, industrial, power generation, hydro, and/or utility projects is considered an asset.
* Experience in industrial design including but not limited to: site development, grading and drainage design, site utilities / tie-ins, erosion control, and road design
* Working knowledge of civil design standards in the USA
* Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
* Must possess a Bachelors Degree in CivilEngineering and be licensed to practice as a professional engineer in the USA
* Knowledge of the following software packages is an asset: Civil 3D, XP Storm, Water Cad, AutoTurn and AutoDesk AVT.
* Must be able to work independently and with others on multiple projects.
* Able to work as part of a multi-discipline design team.
* Experience in business development and structural design would be an asset.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit or stand as required and remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the workday.
* Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, including continuous operation of a computer and other standard office equipment such as calculators, copiers, and printers.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
* The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting.
* Periodic travel may be required and could involve limited exposure to extreme temperatures. Travel may include air travel, during which the employee may be required to remain seated for extended periods.
