We are adding experienced leaders to serve as Electric Transmission Senior Project Managers and Seller/Doers on a national basis to grow our transmission practice and support a variety of projects from concept to completion in a dynamic consulting environment. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background and demonstrated leadership experience with transmission projects. This strategic candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships, responding to client opportunities, develop and work with multiple Tetra Tech environmental and engineering resources to support the project execution on all project activities across a variety of renewable project types and services.
The Seller/Doers will be involved in client business development to sell and provide a variety of environmental and engineering services that support the siting, development, design, construction, and operation of transmission projects. Services may include but not limited to routing and siting, due diligence, project feasibility, natural and cultural resource evaluation, regulatory permitting, engineering studies and design. Our ideal candidates will have existing client relationships and a proven track record of winning work within the transmission market. The ideal candidates will be able to lead by example and understand the team's responsibilities because they have performed the same tasks in a previous role.

Your Role:
Business Development:
* Work with existing Tetra Tech account managers, operations and market leads to expand existing client accounts.
* Develop, sustain, and grow new transmission clients to include utilities or developers.
* Support building and developing a team of high performers of staff focused on transmission.

* Develop a team of multi-discipline staff through coaching and mentoring to expand our transmission services, providing competitive and profitable services and projects.
* Direct and manage marketing and business development within the transmission practice through collaboration and building intercompany relations.
* Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional, safety standards, practices, codes.
* Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Qualifications:
* Possess a Bachelor's degree but preferably a graduate degree in environmental sciences, urban/regional planning, environmental policy, environmental studies, engineering, and/or related field.
* Minimum of 10+ years of experience, with more experience preferred, with account management, business development, environmental assessments and federal, state, and local regulatory compliance/permitting in the US.
* Must have existing client relationships in the transmission market and a proven track record of winning new work.
* Working knowledge of all aspects of planning, permitting, design and construction related to transmission facilities.
* Strong working knowledge of state siting and permitting processes; experience with NEPA and FAST 41 a plus
* Proven success in providing on leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
* Efficient time management -handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.

Your Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
Lead growth of a North America-wide Manufacturing & Commercial Sector team of high performers.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Conducting structural analyses including rebar reinforcement sizing, global structure stability, heat of hydration, and others;
Performing hydraulic and hydrologic analyses using 1D and 2D HEC-RAS and FLOW-3D software;
Performing geotechnical field investigations, including soil and rock logging, in-situ testing, monitoring well installation, and soil and water sampling;
Conducting geotechnical analyses for dam safety, water supply and flood protection projects including seepage and stability modeling, filter compatibility calculations, and material quantity estimates;
Supporting data reduction, management, and analysis, and assisting in the development of data reports, figures, and presentations to clients and regulators;
Developing AutoCAD Civil 3D models of small to major earthwork projects for use in design and quantity estimation;
Assist in preparing detailed written memoranda and reports on technical assignments and presenting technical information to peers and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently seeking a B.S. in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Engineering degree;
Developing technical report writing and communication skills;
Experience with standard geotechnical analysis programs including GeoStudio Seep/W and Slope/W, Plaxis, WALLAP and L-Pile is a plus;
Experience with spatial analysis and visualization software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcMap, and Revit;
Experience with Hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Flow-3D, and FlowMaster;
Willingness and ability to perform field tasks;
Valid U.S. driver's license.

As a Senior Electrical Estimator at Stantec, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating large electrical cost estimates. * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
* A minimum of 10 years experience with Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Planning and Design
* Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
* Strong technical background and experience in designing water distribution systems
* Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation and hydraulic modeling software
* Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary
* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
