Your Role:
Tetra Tech is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Houston, Texas team to provide support on various engineering projects throughout Texas. This position will support a variety of contracts, including commercial, industrial, and local government. Duties will include:
* Performing project tasks for public and private sector clients as well as participation in functions involving contact with client representatives.
* Working with or coordination with project team personnel. Will perform technical functions on projects and work with team members on engineering and construction projects.
* Preparation of feasibility and engineering reports, permit applications, construction specifications, engineering cost estimates, and work on the preparation of construction drawings.

Qualifications:

Your Role:
* Travel for extended periods (95% of season away from home). This includes short and long-term hotel stays and traveling between states.
* Walk long distances, up and down steeply sloped (1:1, 2:1, and 3:1) landfills, and outdoor terrain.

Job Description
AECOM has an opening for an entry level Environmental Scientist in our Houston, Texas office to assist with a variety of projects including data management, site investigations and remediation.
This position is expected to begin in November 2025.
The successful candidate will assist with gathering and analyzing geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data in both the field and office settings. The field activities will consist of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor sample collection, geological logging and interpretation, and the oversight of subcontractors including laboratories and excavation and drilling companies. The office activities will involve preparation of investigation reports.
Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. Field work will be required, including oversight of subcontractors.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related field.
Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review and a substance abuse test.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to understand and supervise advancement of soil borings and installation of monitoring wells.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 10 or more years of experience in planning, design, and project management on municipal water and wastewater treatment and facilities projects to work from any of our Texas offices located in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Round Rock. Recent and ongoing projects include planning, evaluation and design of water and wastewater treatment plant expansions and process improvements, pump stations, and lift stations.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
Leading multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for various water treatment, wastewater treatment, and pump station projects.

* Develop, create, and modify general computer applications or specialized utility programs, including configure, program and test Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) / Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

* Review processes and update control philosophy and operational documentation to align with requirements for water, water treatment, and process plants.
* Commissioning of Applications and Systems, including write testing and pre-commissioning procedures (Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) procedures).
* Program and troubleshoot software programs and commissioning of these systems and integrate system networks.
* Review and validate the control panel, variable speed drives, and soft starter; inspect electrical circuits and field wiring; and oversee control system testing, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications.
* Communicate strategies for Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) / Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) design.
* Define best practices for implementation of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) / Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
* Serve as the acting design authority for control system projects.
* Participate as Subject Matter Expert discussions with clients around various automated control systems.

**PJC Management:**

Four-year Bachelor's degree with ten or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with twelve years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.

Your Role:
