The Opportunity: Tetra Tech is adding a Senior Innovation Consultant to our Asset Management and Southwest Environment & Government Service team based in Colorado Springs, CO. Your Role: The goal of this position is to straddle the line between facilities management, asset management, and digital transformation of the built environment. This position will take a novel and innovative approach to maximizing the use of technology, while maintaining cybersecurity, to deliver and integrate solutions to transform the management of the built environment for Federal, State, Municipal, Higher Education, or commercial clients. * Consult on software development in a Federal environment and how to manage those projects * Consult on application development in a Federal environment and how to manage those projects * Understand and provide subject matter expertise and consult on enterprise data management in the Federal sector. * Provide expertise and consult on operational technology and cybersecurity with respect to the built environment in the public sector. * Consult on digital twins * Consult on facility management, implementation of CMMS or IWMS systems, enterprise sustainment management systems and other related technology platforms supporting the built environment. * Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. * Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness. * Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. * Additional duties as required. Qualifications: The ideal candidate has a background in Federal facilities management and been involved in multiple technology implementations, developments, deployments, evaluations, and creations over the course of their career. This candidate understands the sector and relationships between IT and FM. This position requires the candidate to be a US Citizen. * Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. * Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. * 20 years of Facilities Management experience working with the Federal Government, State or municipal governments, higher education, or commercial entity. * Creator, contributor, developer of software applications deployed in a Federal IT environment. * Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 50%. * Entrepreneurial by nature, always curious and dedicated problem solver. Responsibilities: * Provide field, technical and report preparation support for CERCLA and RCRA investigations and remediation projects to include o Planning and implementation of programs for multi-media environmental sampling and remediation operations. o Preparation of complex documents, which include Work Plans, HASPs, SAPs, QAPPs, remedial designs, reports, etc. o Development of design documents, calculations and workflow for investigation and remediation of hazardous waste sites. o Development of technical specifications, scopes and cost estimates to support procurement of subcontractors including environmental cleanup contractors, remediation system erection contractors, drilling contractors, analytical laboratories, etc. o Evaluation of bids and pricing. * Oversee and evaluate subcontractors working on site during field operations to ensure work is carried out safely in accordance with contract specifications. * Tabulate and assimilate field data collected into coherent products for transmittal to data management staff for upload into centralized databases. * Other duties as assigned.
