Required Qualifications:

* Educational Background: Associate degree in Drafting/CADD or Certificate from a technical school indicating CADD proficiency
* Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of technical professional experience in the AEC industry. Experience organizing and maintaining CAD/BIM project structures, including file naming, sheet numbering, and reference file management

AECOM is seeking an experienced Ecologist III/Statistician to join our California Natural Resources Group. This is a part-time, on-call position that will report directly to our Southern California NR team. Candidates may work remotely.
This position would support numerous natural resource projects throughout the Western United States, including California, the Great Basin region, and the southwest. Primary duties will include ecological statistics and modeling to support risk assessments, permitting, and/or conservation planning. The position will support complex permitting and compliance projects focused on federally and/or state-listed and sensitive species.
Responsibilities will require a working knowledge of advanced statistics and modeling with ecological applications. Skill sets required include including proficiency with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS) and modeling approaches such as general linear and Bayesian models. Responsibilities will include collaborating with diverse project teams on a variety of types of projects. Other focuses may include supporting development of technical reports, conservation plans, and permit applications. Candidate will coordinate with clients and resource agency staff and participate in public review processes.
Projects and clients can include renewable energy, transportation, utility and energy transmission sectors, with an emphasis on clients in the public sector such as federal and municipal entities.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Director of Core Infrastructure Operations to join our team! In this role you will get to drive modernization and operational efficiencies to support Parson IT service excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing (IOC + engineering organization, including hiring, coaching, workforce planning, and on-call/shift rotations.)
Serve as leadership oversight for network and data center related incidents to ensure high-quality communications and post-incident RCAs.
Provide 24/7 response to critical issues.
Network Reliability & Performance
Own availability, performance, and capacity across LAN/WAN/WLAN/Datacenter/Cloud networking; manage carriers, circuits, and peering.
Drive SD-WAN/SASE, Zero Trust segmentation, NAC (802.1X), load balancing/GSLB, IPv6 strategy, QoS, and WAN optimization.
Plan and execute lifecycle refreshes and resiliency/DR testing.
Server and Data Center Reliability & Performance
Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of server and data center infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of data center operations.
Manage disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
Support Backup and storage for cloud and on-premise services.
Observability & AIOps
Define and execute the monitoring/observability roadmap (tool selection, topology/CMDB integration, event correlation, dashboards).
Establish SLIs/SLOs and error-budget policies with SRE practices; runbooks, and auto-remediation.
Integrate monitoring with Service Desk tools for incident, change, and problem management.
Security & Compliance (in partnership with Cyber)
Ensure network security controls (FW/IPS, micro-segmentation, etc) and vulnerability remediation meet policy.
Support audits and compliance (e.g., SOX; NIST 800-171/CMMC/DFARS).
Ensure the security of servers and data centers by implementing robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and ensure proper documentation and audits.
Monitor and mitigate risks related to data breaches, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
Strategy, Architecture & Change
Partner with Enterprise/Domain Architecture and Solutions Engineering on network, server, data center and observability strategy and standards.
Own CAB participation and change reliability (change success rate, pre-prod testing, maintenance windows).
Vendor, Budget & FinOps
Manage multi-million-dollar OpEx/CapEx budgets; optimize TCO for tooling and connectivity.
Lead vendor/carrier selection, contract negotiations, and SLA enforcement; drive measurable value.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Provide clear executive updates, KPI reviews, and action plans; enable business continuity for critical events and major programs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
12+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on core networking.
Strong technical expertise in networking technologies: Including LAN, WAN, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network security, and cloud networking.
Leadership and management experience: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of network professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. In addition, Strong observability background (metrics/logs/traces/synthetics, event correlation, topology/CMDB) and integration with ITSM.
Excellent Financial Acumen. Strong experience managing complex budgets with multiple cost centers.
Project management skills: Ability to manage projects related to network upgrades, deployments, and other initiatives.

Job Summary

* Perform field inspections and environmental investigations;

What You'll Be Doing:
Makes recommendations and participates in the planning of construction operations. Outlines work programs and designates critical areas and priorities.
Provides detailed scheduling of daily construction activities and coordinates between the company and subcontractors to avoid conflicts.
Maintains surveillance of labor performance, manpower allocation, and effective use of tools and equipment. Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
Analyzes rigging requirements and other critical items to determine the best method of installation.
Plans the sequence and number of construction activities to be placed in progress in the operational program.
Prepares the major construction equipment list for the project and monitors the assignment of equipment required by each craft to ensure maximum efficiency.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), and typically 12+ years of experience in field construction is required. Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted in lieu of formal education.
8+ years of progressive experience in AI, data analytics, or digital transformation, with at least 3 years in a client-facing or consultative capacity.
Demonstrated success designing or implementing data-driven solutions in transportation, mobility, or critical-infrastructure sectors.
Experience integrating across disciplines-data, AI/ML, systems architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
Technical Expertise
Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and modern data architectures.
Strong knowledge of data platforms and tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark).
Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps principles.

We're currently seeking a talented Fire Protection Engineer. In this role, you'll contribute to projects that protect lives and property while helping shape resilient and sustainable environments.
This position can be based out of any U.S. based office. We offer a hybrid work environment that allows our employees to balance time in the office with remote work from home.
As a valued member of our Infrastructure and Services Group you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
- Developing comprehensive fire protection engineering designs, including conceptual layouts, basis-of-design documentation, water supply and hydraulic analyses, and detailed plans for fire sprinkler and suppression systems, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems.
- Acting as QFPE for work with federal projects, providing life safety, fire suppression and fire alarm analysis and design.
- Reviewing draft designs to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and signing off on completed designs.
- Performing other duties of basic to high complexity as necessary to meet client requirements such as creating fire protection and life safety engineering designs and evaluations: egress analysis, fire separation requirements, fire hazard analysis, water supply evaluations, insurance provider recommendations.
- Evaluating systems utilizing HydraCAD, HydraCALC, or similar software as required.
- Reviewing draft designs for compliance with NFPA, UFC, national, state, and local regulations as applicable to project work and signing off on completed designs. Ensuring that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
- Performing other duties of basic to high complexity as necessary to meet client requirements, such as creating fire protection and life safety engineering designs
- Ensuring that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
- Collaborating with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs). Reviewing draft proposals for adherence to firm, industry, state, local, and federal regulations, and best practices.
- Meeting with current and potential future clients to review their current and future design needs.
- Performing site assessments and studies, as needed to ensure designs are aligned with industry standards and local requirements.
- Attending conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm's products and services in collaboration with applicable sales staff.
- Providing technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Mentoring more junior staff and developing them for future growth within the discipline and firm. May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.
