LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to enhance our team and provide critical office administrative support to the FAA. The successful candidate will provide general administrative/clerical duties supporting FAA managers and personnel. The individual in this role will contribute to the FAA's operational and logistical functions, using FAA provided software, bi-weekly Time and Attendance collection and reconciliation. This position will be based in either Washington DC or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. In addition to providing air traffic control and safety oversight for civilian aviation, the FAA also works in lockstep with the Department of Defense and other government agencies to ensure the security of our nation. A key component of that coordination involves the collaborative use of aviation tools and data.
Job Duties & Responsibilities - Essential Job Functions may include (but are not limited to) the following:

* A successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience and be proficient in:
* Maintaining files, properly organized and labeled, and a database of graphics information on the NDP share drive for quick retrieval and merging into new documentation.
* Operate equipment such as laptops and projectors to support briefings and presentations at meeting and conferences.
* Arrange meeting locations for NDP-led meetings.
* Prepare NDP agendas, presentation materials, meeting minutes, and action item lists. The Contractor must develop the action item lists to include a due date and responsible person(s) assigned, who must provide the status of the action at agreed upon intervals until the action is closed for internal and external customers. The Contractor must perform telephone communications, space management, and property inventory management to include all accountable property such as laptops. Subject to Government control, the Contractor must also provide federal property management support to include inventory and tracking NDP assets.
* Provide support for personnel, safety, environmental, and training related activities to include accessing FAA systems (i.e., CASTLE, E2 travel, PRISM, Delphi, and ELMs systems) to review, initiate reports, and ensure deadlines are being met.
* Perform database and records management to include data entry, updating, tracking, problem resolution, and preparation of reports.
* Provide support to the Federal Program Officer to include verifying purchase and travel data.
Required Qualifications - A successful candidate will have
* High School Diploma +10 years relevant experience.
* Experience creating and editing content using Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience supporting the US Government clients.
* Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.

Compensation (Pay Bands)
Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. * Develop stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control designs tasks for civil, transportation, and environmental projects, including closed/open drainage systems, environmental site design, ponds, stream restoration, flood studies, and E&SC controls.
* Prepare complete submission packages, supporting calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties; effectively facilitate the agency review/approval process.
* Process construction permits through local permitting agencies.
* Oversee and direct flood studies and lead supporting tasks, including hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and floodplain mapping.
* Perform hydrologic and hydraulic surface water modeling with 1D and 2D HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, USGS tools, and others in support of flood risk studies and other water resources projects

Responsibilities
* Designs, develops, and maintains electronic systems and components that support FAA air traffic control equipment, navigation aids, surveillance systems, communication devices, and instrumentation critical to aviation safety and operations.
* Analyzes system performance and specifications, designs and tests electronic circuits and assemblies.

**The Opportunity**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to...
+ Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications and contracts. Interpret and apply applicable NFPA Standards to the design/layout based on building type, hazard classification, architectural characteristics, etc.
+ Develop construction documents for fire suppression and alarm systems on new and existing facilities ensuring project compliance with applicable codes and standards.
+ Manage design teams to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality on complex government projects
+ Perform technical reviews of complex design documents including building construction, fire detection/alarm, fire suppression, standpipe, fire alarm, smoke control, water storage/distribution and alternative fire suppression systems to ensure that they conform to the applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
+ Review contractor shop drawings and submittals
+ Actively coordinate with all other internal/external team members on projects
+ Work with the Authority Having Jurisdiction, team, contractors and owners to create a safe working environment for the occupants while still completing the mission.
+ Perform field investigations of completed design to verify accuracy of design and perform/witness acceptance testing/commissioning
+ Provide presentations and training at events concerning updates to codes and regulations.
