Accelerate growth of the CDMO business within TAPI by increasing the win rate on RFP's with potential and existing customers. Provide optimal customer experience to this high touch client base. Location: This is a fully remote opportunity. Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States. How you'll spend your day Work closely with the business intelligence group to identify new potential clients based on technologies within TAPI's network with a particular emphasis on peptides and small molecule APIs. Develop and implement a territory plan that will support sales target achievement Build relationships and business with new clients in the relevant region assigned, assuring to meet KPI's and sales targets. Increase TAPI's brand awareness by attending industry trade shows as well as visiting customers Focus on early-stage opportunities between pre-clinical to Phase 2b/3 with biotech and innovative pharmaceutical companies. Work closely with the program management team from the RFP process through the stages of the project with the client to maximize proposal win rates Ensure the RFP is created to best in class for submission to Customer after alignment with internal stakeholders by providing market insights, customer decision making criteria and pricing strategies to maximize conversion to order. Work closely with the market intelligence team to build a pipeline of new leads and opportunities in the CDMO space to achieve sales targets Convert Sales Qualified Leads into Opportunities by understanding customer needs and aligning TAPI solutions to generate sales; track progress in CRM Maintain high level of relationship with customers; act as single point of contact for business needs Regular communication with customers and internal stakeholders on progress and flagging risks in advance. Ensure deliverables to project timelines in line with customer expectations. Engage in periodic telecons/ meetings and send reports to customer on the project. Support governance process with big pharma on potential CDMO opportunities. Support strategic initiatives by providing market insights to the business teams. Your experience and qualifications Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical experience in CDMO Business Development and/or CDMO Key Account Management, with a focus in peptides and small molecules B2B pharmaceutical industry experience in the CDMO space Pertinent professional education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry or related field preferred. Strong negotiation skills. Strong leadership skills and capabilities. Executive presence with proven ability to influence others. The opportunity The Biosimilar Regional Account Manager (BRAM) will manage targeted customer accounts in the institutional, clinic, specialty wholesale distribution, specialty pharmacy and market access classes of trade for the Teva product portfolio with an emphasis on biosimilars. The BRAM will have additional product responsibilities within the generic and innovative medicine portfolios and will identify, develop and maintain relationships with customer targets based on individual product strategies. This role is responsible for the implementation of product access strategies/tactics for all defined targets in collaboration with Marketing and other internal stake holders. They also will identify and develop opportunities with customer targets through data analysis and contract negotiations within the product strategies to meet and exceed assigned sales goals. This role will also be accountable for ensuring contract compliance to increase pull-through sales and reporting market intelligence. The BRAM will also be responsible for collaborating with various internal strategic partners such as: Market Access, Trade, Marketing, Medical, Brand Team, Finance, National Accounts and Pricing/Contract teams. The Account Manager, CL/TM is a front-line, customer-facing, quota-carrying role responsible for driving sales and growth of QuidelOrtho's Clinical Laboratory (CL) and Transfusion Medicine (TM) product lines. This role manages a geographic territory or a portfolio of named accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customers.
