    Job Description Behavior Technician Full Time - Children's Center for Autism (CCA) The Children's Center for Autism (CCA) is looking for energetic Behavior Technicians (BT) to provide life-changing treatment to individuals with autism You will receive daily support and training from your supervisors You will also participate in regular professional development events (while on the clock) to further your knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) You can earn prizes for perfect attendance, high evaluation scores, and more! Our Employee Advisory Committee plans social and fun events for all team members! We provide you with a paid 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training! We also pay for your RBT application fee and exam fee, as well as renewal/recertification fees! Pay increases to $17.25 per hour within the first year that you receive your RBT certification! And additional increases up to $20.00 based on years as an RBT. You are guaranteed to work your scheduled work hours regardless of client cancellations! You earn 21 days of paid time off and paid holidays during the first year of employment! Role Responsibilities Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans Work as a part of a collaborative team under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Work directly with clients to increase appropriate skills such as communication and social skills Work directly with clients to decrease challenging behaviors such as aggression Provide support and prompting to clients as needed to facilitate learning and skill development Collect data on client progress using an electronic device Complete accurate and timely session note documentation Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork throughout the treatment day Participate in a comprehensive 2-3-week training on ABA techniques, CPR, SAMA, and other Texana Center procedures Participate in regular continuing education opportunities Provide behavior analysis therapy services as outlined in the client's treatment plan. Therapy sessions are frequently observed by supervisors and parents through a video monitoring system Comply with the Registered Behavior Technician Ethics Code Receive ongoing supervision for ABA service delivery and maintain documentation of supervision Salary $15.00 - $17.00/hour Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills High school diploma or GED Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Fingerprinting required through the Department of Public Safety Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills Bachelor's Degree in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field Experience as a Behavior Technician in an ABA program Experience with individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities including Autism Job Related Physical Requirements Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR. Training is provided to employees once hired. Accesses and handles selected medications and administers contrast. Administers contrast material in the correct dosage, route and observes patients for adverse reactions. Informs and assists physicians and radiologists with patient scheduling, patient transfers, and emergency cases ensuring that all preexam procedures are followed including allergic reaction and level tests. 5. Processes acquired images onto PACS. Ensures that images and records are properly completed with patient identification data and appropriate labeling.
