The Role at a Glance
The Manufacturing Assistance Wage Agency Instructor coordinates, prepares, and delivers Lean, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and maintenance training in the areas of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This position provides training throughout the State of Texas to a wide range of audiences, including technicians, managers, and executives in manufacturing, commercial, and government organizations.
The instructor delivers courses that focus on proven strategies and techniques designed to help organizations improve operational performance. Leveraging a solid understanding of adult learning theories and learning styles, the instructor ensures effective knowledge transfer and promotes learner success. This role also utilizes a variety of media and instructional methods to present course materials and contributes to curriculum development efforts to maintain course relevance and meet customer needs.
This position reports to the Program Director.
Qualifications of the Role
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Five years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
One year of experience in adult education and/or training of lean manufacturing tools.
Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Equivalency: Will accept an associate's degree and seven years of experience in engineering or manufacturing or a high school diploma and nine years of experience in engineering or manufacturing. Must also have one year of experience in adult education and/or training of lean manufacturing tools.

The Office of Academic Affairs within the School of Public Health at Texas A&M University is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Program Specialist II to support essential academic operations across the school.
In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating course scheduling across departments, managing data and schedules in university systems such as Astra, SRS, and Banner, and helping resolve enrollment or scheduling issues before they impact students. Under general supervision, the TEEX Public Safety Counselor IV provides trauma-informed counseling and wellness support tailored to public safety professionals, including law enforcement, fire service, EMS, telecommunicators, and emergency management personnel. Qualifications of the Role
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
Ten years of experience providing counseling services to first responders, military, or other high-risk occupational populations, including collaborating with peer-support teams, law enforcement, fire, EMS, or emergency management organizations.
Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

The Training and Development Coordinator, under general supervision, is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs and initiatives that support the strategic goals and objectives of land-grant programs in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR).

Works closely with team leadership to determine training needs and plans within the College. Collaborates with other units and third-party entities to enhance and improve established projects and deliver additional training services. Coordinates training program calendars and schedules, and partners with departments to create individual development plans for employees. Works with training and human resources liaison groups on new programs and initiatives, incorporating federal program factors as needed.
Evaluates and conducts follow-up studies/surveys on completed training programs to assess effectiveness and impact. Develops reports for leadership and key stakeholders based on evaluation results. Establishes a framework for online training and uses a learning management system to track in-service training from planning through individual training records. Stays up to date with the latest instructional technologies and trends through networking, professional development, reviewing industry publications, and participation in professional associations. Organizes and coordinates employee engagement events, such as retreats, celebrations, team-building activities, and recognition programs, aimed at increasing employee morale. Solicits feedback from employees to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of engagement events. Works within budget and time constraints to ensure successful outcomes. Creates and maintains a calendar of events and communicates details to relevant parties.

The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Oversight of the Office of Compliance Services
Maintain a comprehensive NCAA compliance program for student-athletes, athletics staff, University donors/boosters, and campus partners. Collaborate with the Office of Financial Aid, Registrar's Office and the Faculty Athletic Representative to ensure alignment with NCAA and SWAC Conference regulations. Provide daily oversight and direction for the Office of Athletic Compliance staff.
Lead the execution of a robust rules education program for varying audiences, including but not limited to, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, coaches, athletics administrators, university personnel, donors and alumni.
Serve as the department's legislative expert, staying current on NCAA, SWAC and PVAMU rules and regulations. Facilitate the university's position on proposed NCAA legislation in partnership with the President, Chief Compliance Officer, Athletics Director, and Faculty Athletic Representative. Attend and present at regional and national seminars.
Lead investigations and reporting of NCAA violations, and prepare waiver and petition requests. Serve as a key liaison for the Campus Athletic Appeals Committees. Collaborate with academic leadership on matters of academic integrity.
Direct Sport Program Compliance Support
Collaborate with 18 sport programs to ensure adherence to NCAA rules and regulations. Oversee compliance monitoring systems related to recruiting activities, including social media, contacts, evaluations and campus visits. Provide hands-on support by traveling with high-profile teams.
Interpretations
Provide accurate interpretations of NCAA, Conference and institutional rules and regulations, using research and national collaboration. Oversee and guide the compliance staff's interpretations, maintaining a comprehensive interpretation database to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Leadership Staff Member
Serve as a member of the Athletic Director's leadership staff. Offer strategic compliance insight in high-level decision-making.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
Four years of experience in compliance at a Division I institution, at a Division I intercollegiate athletics conference office or at the NCAA or SWAC headquarters, including management experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
General knowledge of NCAA rules. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NCAA Compliance Assistant (CAi) and Legislative Services Database (LSDBi) and eligibility center.
Experience with ARMS/Teamworks and monitoring software.
Ability to counsel students and parents in NCAA legislative matters.
Strong knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
Ability to supervise staff.

Texas A&M Forest Service is seeking highly motivated students who have interest in exploring work with the premier state forestry agency in the country. These individuals may select one or more program areas of interest where they will contribute to support the agency mission of assuring the state's trees, forest and related natural resources are protected and sustained and encourages looking to TAMFS as an employer upon graduation.

General Summary:
Assist professional staff in one of a variety of emphasis such as Incident Response, wildfire mitigation and prevention, forest stewardship, water resource management, urban & community forestry and geospatial services. Interns will be responsible for a dedicated project within their chosen emphasis area. There are opportunities during the course of the internship to be exposed to a wide variety of programs within the agency, not just the program the internship is under.
Incident Response interns: (Lubbock/McGregor/Mineral Wells)
Will work under the Field Operations Department and work closely with Task Force Coordinators, Wildland Urban Interface Coordinators, Regional Fire Coordinators, Foresters and Woodland Ecologists. Gain familiarization in both fire and natural resource management programs. Engage in supporting fire prevention and mitigation programs, which may include development of Community Wildfire Protection Plans and Firewise Communities, hazardous fuel reduction projects (including prescribed fire and forest mulching) and wildland fire training if available. Provide GIS mapping and data support, assist in Stewardship plan writing, Oak Wilt surveys and assist with landowner workshops. Assist in promoting the benefits of prescribed fire and mechanical fuel reduction projects. Provide support for fire department capacity building programs and wildfire response.
Conservation Education, Forest Stewardship, Water Resources, Urban & Community Forestry interns: (College Station,Conroe, Lufkin)
-Will work under Staff Foresters/Woodland Ecologists/District Foresters to support the development and maintenance of statewide community forestry, forest stewardship, water resources, conservation education and State Forests program delivery and assist staff to attain program goals. Support initiatives that deliver education, outreach and technical assistance to stakeholders on various topics to include Project Learning Tree (PLT), tree planting and maintenance, Texas Treesilience Grant, Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), geospatial mapping and data collection, tree inventory and analysis, urban stormwater management/green infrastructure, Community Forestry Grant Program, development guidelines and recognition programs, such as Tree City USA.
Required Qualifications:
-Working towards a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have completed their junior year of college up to second-year post graduates looking for professional experience. Must not be graduating in May. Majors should be in Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Range Science, Emergency Management, Education, Communication or a closely related field.

Working Conditions:
Mixed-office type environment with field work and occasional travel.
