The new faculty member will join a collaborative group of 26 mathematics, statistics, and data science faculty who serve the entire university community. We seek applications for a full-time, 9-month non-tenure track Assistant Professional Professor position to begin in Spring 2026. Although this is a non-tenure track position, progression in rank to professional associate and professional senior professor position is possible. We are particularly interested in a colleague who has a strong interest in teaching mathematics content courses for preservice teachers, as well as teaching other introductory undergraduate mathematics courses. Responsibilities The successful candidate will teach multiple courses in undergraduate mathematics education, and general mathematics, as well as participate in the ongoing development of such courses and take a leadership role in common assessment efforts. The workload is 30 hours of teaching (typically, five three-hour courses per semester), and service activities over 9 months. No expectation for research is required.
