    Job Title Visiting Professor of Accounting Agency Texas A&M University - San Antonio Department Department Of Accounting & Finance Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Type Faculty Job Description The College of Business at Texas A&M University-San Antonio seeks applications for a Visiting Professor or Lecturer of Accounting to begin in January 2026-Fall 2026 start date may be considered. The initial appointment is for a period of one year. This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position, subject to renewal based on performance and funding. The Visiting Professor or Lecturer will teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, mentor students, and support departmental service and program development. Responsibilities: * Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting. * Advise and mentor students. * Support curriculum development and accreditation activities. * Engage in service to the department, college, and university. Required Education and Experience: * Master's degree in Accounting; MBA with 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting; or J.D. with CPA certification. * Evidence of effective university-level teaching. * Commitment to student success and comprehensive teaching practices. Preferred Education and Experience: * Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field (completed or ABD). * Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CIA, or equivalent). * Experience teaching first-generation student populations.
