This position is responsible for the physical delivery and distribution of printed materials across Travis County departments. The role involves frequent lifting, loading, transporting, and delivering print jobs and paper supplies, in addition to operating basic reprographics and bindery equipment. This is a physically demanding, delivery-driven role that requires reliability, time management, and the ability to handle heavy materials throughout the workday.

Distinguishing Characteristics
This is the first in a series of two reprographics production-related job classifications within the Imaging & Graphics job family. This classification performs routine, hands-on work in the printing, reproduction, binding and delivering of documents.
* Loads, transports, and delivers completed print jobs to County departments on a daily schedule.
* Delivers bulk paper and printing supplies, including moving boxed and palletized materials weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the day.
* Operates various photocopy equipment in order to complete print orders for clients. Monitors print quality.
* Operates a variety of bindery equipment, including high speed stapling, binding, collating, folding, inserting, drilling and labeling machines. Adjusts machines for each job according to paper size and alignment.
* Performs related work, such as collating, stapling, assembling, stuffing, cutting, punching, folding and paste-ups as job requires.
* Delivers completed print jobs to clients. Delivers copy paper to clients.
* Maintains and operates offset presses and other print shop equipment, such as copier machines, paper cutter and paper folder. Loads machines with paper and supplies, such as toner.
* May supervise inmates who are used to assist in print jobs and delivery of large orders.
* Maintains inventory of paper and other supplies. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties, as required.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or G.E.D. AND one (1) year of reprographics or related experience;

SPECIAL ADA PHYSICAL STATEMENT:
Vision: Must have sufficient vision without glasses to defend self and others, and perform mandatory life safety functions. Dual vision is required. All officers are required to take and pass vision tests each year. Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better with uncorrected vision of 20/200 or better. Corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/20 (both eyes) and 20/40 (each eye). For applicants who have completed refractive surgery to correct vision, the operating physician must complete a Corrected Vision Surgical Form.
Hearing: Must have normal hearing in both ears. Hearing sensitivity thresholds are within 25 dB measured at 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000Hz and 3000Hz averaged together. If a person does not have normal hearing a medical specialist evaluation is required in order for the candidate to be considered for hire.

Consistent with nationally recognized best practices, the PDO provides high-quality holistic defense representation and other support to people, including youth and those living with serious mental illness/intellectual or developmental disability, accused of criminal offenses via its three divisions- General Adult, Juvenile and Mental Health.
Public Defender office managers carry out and oversee complex operational and administrative duties and responsibilities that allow the office to protect and provide the constitutional right to counsel for its indigent clients. In addition to directly supervising core administrative staff, office managers indirectly supervise all staff in their division to ensure effective and efficient office operations. Office Managers are tasked with creating a welcoming, enjoyable, usefully laid-out/equipped office space and environment for both staff and clients, and for creating and administering policies and procedures that allow staff to provide excellent holistic representation to clients. Coordinates the Nuisance Abatement Program and contractors assigned to the Nuisance Abatement Program. The position will manage, facilitate and coordinate interactions between community members, business owners and the County to bring problem properties into compliance with public health and safety codes and laws. Project team member responsible for facility analysis and oversight of planning, design, construction and inspection of new facilities, renovations and remodels of existing facilities. This position will help oversee the private sector design team and be the Travis County PM and liaison throughout design and then during the construction administration phase. This Juvenile Probation Officer/Care Coordinator serves as a bridge between the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department (TCJPD) and Travis County Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide in-home wraparound services for youth with complex behavioral health challenges who are enrolled into The Children's Partnership (TCP) and are actively involved with Juvenile Probation. The Care Coordinator works collaboratively with the youth, family, Juvenile Probation, and community partners and agencies in a strengths-based, team-approach, utilizing the Wraparound process to develop and implement a plan of care for the youth and family.
The purpose of the position is to support the stabilization of the juvenile-justice involved youth so they can safely remain in their home, school, and community. This position requires a high level of collaboration with various systems including schools, child welfare, juvenile justice, and mental health agencies. The TCP Care Coordinator must be flexible, creative, able to work varied hours, and comfortable working in families' homes. The TCP Care Coordinator must be able to perform in crisis situations and be comfortable working with individuals who have experienced trauma, have limited resources, and have challenges in functioning in everyday settings. The TCP Care Coordinator will be trained as a Wraparound Facilitator through National Wraparound Implementation Center (NWIC) and is expected to maintain fidelity to the model.
