The ECAD designer is responsible for creating and documenting the characteristics of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design from conception to manufacturing. This process includes library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, gerber / ODB++ file creation, and all documentation using the Mentor Graphics and Blueprint toolsets. In addition, the ECAD designer will be responsible for interfacing with the electrical, mechanical, and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplished.
PDE responsibilities include supporting the Digital, RF and Power Products (DRP) Team design community as the affordability, manufacturability, and producibility for all Missile Programs. Tasks include involvement in digital, analog, and RF design projects from initial bill-of-material selection through Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and subsystem assembly including resolution on all technical and supplier related issues. Throughout the product lifecycle the Product Development Engineer (PDE) follows our Integrated Product Development System to create an affordable, producible, and highly reliable design that meets the program's delivery and milestones needs.

Qualifications You Must Have

We are looking to hire an experienced systems engineer/architect to drive new investment areas for the precision ADC (PADC) team. Those new investment areas require a higher degree of digital integration into our ADCs to perform advanced signal processing functions, such as sensor linearization and temperature compensation. The ideal candidate has strong background in defining mixed-signal products with integrated processing units. Those new devices are becoming more and more ASSPs (Application-specific standard products) or SoCs (System on Chips), therefore the candidate needs to be able to develop a deep understanding of the complete customer system requirements.
