The Vice President of Pharmacy Services plays a vital role in driving clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization across multiple acute care facilities. This position offers the chance to lead high-impact initiatives, influence division-wide pharmacy performance, and partner with senior leadership to elevate patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Provide executive oversight of pharmacy operations, clinical services, and expense management across multiple hospitals. Lead strategic planning and implementation of division-wide pharmacy initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Develop, monitor, and optimize pharmacy business processes to enhance quality, compliance, and financial performance. Collaborate with corporate and facility leaders to improve purchasing efficiency and medication management outcomes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards for all pharmacy departments under scope. Build and strengthen relationships with clinical and operational leadership to advance patient care and staff development. Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics, budget adherence, and cost-reduction initiatives. Serve as subject-matter expert in pharmaceutical services, providing guidance on regulatory preparedness and clinical decision support.
