The facility offers nationally accredited oncology program with adult Transplant and Cellular Therapy, advanced cardiac/stroke/orthopedic programs, robotic surgery institute, maternity services, and comprehensive subspecialties. The position reports to Administrative Director Emergency Services with direct oversight of 1 main ER manager plus CNCs and 2 managers for FSERs. Develop and implement policies ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory standards for emergency services. Ensure efficient patient throughput delivering high-quality care through volume forecasting (220 daily average), patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning. Develop care coordination policies promoting improved quality, safety, and efficiency while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across departments. Direct nursing practice and unit operations across 45-bed main ED plus 70 total treatment spaces and multiple freestanding locations. Ensure equipment maintenance performed regularly according to regulatory and accreditation standards across all emergency sites. Provide leadership executing strategic roadmap enhancing patient experience and achieving optimal outcomes across emergency services network. Leverage feedback mechanisms to benchmark performance and implement strategies elevating patient satisfaction and service delivery. Collaborate with subject matter experts and leaders to ensure compliance with evidence-based practices enhancing patient experience.
