    The Culture at Textio

    Where Life Is Good

Life at Textio is good. In 2018, Textio was named the #1 company to work for in the state of Washington. Textio's method for creating a great working environment is a simple one: hire great people, challenge them with tough problems and trust them to get it done.

Textio is a place where highly-motivated and driven people converge to do things better. This creates a healthy level of competition, which pushes employees to always be the best they can. People want to be the best they can, not to be better than their employees but to impress them because they respect their colleagues and value their opinions.

There is a culture of learning at Textio. Because of the problems that Textio employees are tasked with solving, rarely a day goes by where you won't get a chance to learn something new. And because you will be around people that are the best at what they do, you will have plenty of support in figuring it out. There are no egos here.

Textio employees enjoy a really fun work-life with excellent balance. Take the fun, dynamic and progressive culture of a start-up and mix it with the laid-back, outdoorsy, smart Pacific Northwest vibe and bingo, you've got Textio.

This is a tight-knit group of employees that really care about each other and thrive on mutual respect. If they see something going wrong, they work to help fix it, whether it is their job or not.

Textio offers top of the line benefits packages. They start with family medical, dental and vision. Next up, they have very competitive salaries and an unlimited flexible time off policy. They offer their employees a transit stipend, which incentivizes cutting down on carbon footprints. Another really cool thing that Terxtio does is offer paid volunteer time along with actually donating to the nonprofit where you volunteer. That's putting money where your mouth is. Some other awesome perks and benefits include:

  • Stocked snacks

    Interviewing with Textio

When it comes to interviewing with Textio, no games will be played. The company knows what it is looking for and makes cultural fit a very high priority. The interview has been described as overall pretty tough but completely worth it. The first round is a phone screen with a recruiter that could last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Round 2 is a 45-minute in-person meeting with the hiring manager. This is a great time for you to express your interest and ask as many questions as you can.

Round 3 is an on-site presentation. There will likely be assignments that you will be required to complete during the interview process as well, so the hiring team can make sure you know your stuff. They really want to see the real you throughout the recruitment process, so let your personality shine just as much as your background and experience.
