Evan is a strategic CFO and COO with a focus on leading emerging technology companies to scale. With more than 25 years of financial management experience, he brings a strong track record of helping growth stage companies achieve successful outcomes.

As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of TextNow, Evan oversees financial, data science, legal, recruiting activities and strategic growth initiatives for the leading free calling and texting mobile app. TextNow has more than 10 million monthly active users and was the 8th most downloaded communications app in the US in 2020, with more than 18 million downloads.

Prior to TextNow, Evan was CFO at Chef Software, which he led through its successful acquisition by Progress Software in October 2020. Evan also served as CFO of Impinj (NASDAQ:PI) from 2000 to 2018, where he helped to secure more than $100 million in private funding before leading the company through an initial public offering and follow-on offering on the NASDAQ. Evan began his career as general manager of operations at T-Mobile, where he led financial planning and corporate development activities.

Evan has received numerous financial industry accolades for his work, including being named the Most Innovative CFO by Armanino LLP in 2019. He was also ranked a Top CFO in the Small Cap Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector by Institutional Investor in 2017 and CFO of the Year by the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2014.

A committed member of Seattle’s technology industry, Evan founded the Seattle Tech CFO professional group in 2011, which now consists of 100 Seattle based CFOs from the region's most innovative companies. He is an active angel investor and serves as an advisor to numerous technology companies in the region.

He also serves as a board member for the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and the University of Washington Center for Leadership and Strategic Thinking. He previously served on the board of the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center and The Technology Alliance. He lives in Seattle with his wife and four children.

Evan earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington. He lives in Seattle with his wife and four children.

Dunja Vujovic is a Chief Of Staff at TextNow Inc. and is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She has worked as Director, Culture at TextNow Inc.; HR/Office Coordinator at eSentire; and Logistics Services Representative at Agricorp. Dunja studied at FAM - Faculty of Management between 2004 and 2008, Conestoga College between 2013 and 2016, and Faculty of Science University of Novi Sad between 2009 and 2010.

Her career evolved in a way I could not have foreseen, and she now finds myself in my sweet spot, that perfect intersection of talent, skill, interests, and knowledge. As an effective technology leader, she is competitive, resourceful, tough-minded, and respectfully candid.

She is currently the COO at TextNow, a mission-driven scale-up tech company that provides high-quality phone service, for free. The mobile app has more than 10 million monthly active users and is consistently ranked Top 40 overall in Google Play and Top 100 in the App Store.

Prior to TextNow, she spent 14 years in progressive roles at BlackBerry, starting as a Communications Specialist and eventually being fast-tracked to a VP position managing more than 35 outsourced repair factories, 600 walk-in service centres, and a global staff. In that role she succeeded in reducing repair costs by 15% and meeting an aggressive corporate goal to reduce costs by $39M while retaining quality service levels.
