We are hiring immediately for a full-time Lead A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic. This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering up to a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus.
What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic Lead:
You can expect to handle complex repairs on components and systems of various aircraft, specialize in a specific area, and manage the work of your crew. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Diagnostic and Mechanical Duties\: Perform diagnostic and mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, repair, reassembly, and adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare them for flight
Aircraft Systems Maintenance\: Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems, including landing gear, air conditioning, pressurization systems, turbochargers, and optional equipment installations
Engine and Component Repairs\: Repair or replace engine components and accessories such as carburetors, fuel control units, fuel injection systems, air bleed systems, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic and vacuum pumps
Modification\: Perform modification work on aircraft systems and structures, including minor upholstery and touch-up paint work
Documentation and Reporting\: Maintain accurate written reports in logs and inspection documents. May observe mechanical systems during flight for troubleshooting
Supervision and Training\: Guide and instruct technicians, providing job-related training as needed
What you need to be successful:
High school education or GED required
A&P License required
Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance

Machine Process DesignerThis position will execute activities for designing digital machine processes and standards for advanced manufacturing equipment.
You'll work with both metallics and composite manufacturing processes executing the design and development of digital processes and resources.
Objectives also include driving the advancement of enterprise knowledge and capability within the field of Systems Engineering, specifically machine process design.
What you'll be doing as a Machine Process Designer Creation and maturation of advanced operational technologies to support machine application laws for multi-axis equipment which includes design and development of a complete machine simulation capability.
Development of sequencing logic for cutting tool technology, machine execution, and sub-system automation through the CAD/CAM system while integrating machine functions into software models to support machine application.
Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs uniquely conceived to promote the Manufacturing Innovation mission and industrialization of new technologies.
Execute complex technical assignments and projects, including the development of machine fabrication support through the CAD/CAM system for flight critical aerospace components and assemblies.
Implement and monitor the effectiveness of process design activities that reduce and control variation to achieve the planned target levels for process design certification.
Develop and chronicle detailed records of best practice and standards including data requirements and approach which includes machine & cutter stability through process design and analysis Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to machine process and part quality throughout the full manufacturing process lifecycle (CAD/CAM, Post Processing, Machine Control, Metrology) Qualifications Skills You Bring To this Role Comprehensive understanding of the processes and workflows that are associated with machine programming and the design of standard work.
Understanding of CAD/CAM including data movement from part design to machine and back to part design.
Preferred experience designing / creating machine processes and programs through the post processor life cycle using machine simulations such as VericutExperience with CAD/CAM systems such as CATIA v5 or v6, Prefer Catia 3DX experience.
Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers.
What you need to be successful We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate and learn new technologies.
Bachelor's degree with a Major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
5 years' minimum design experience required in Manufacturing Engineering functions, with experience in process design research and development.
Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
