This position is based in our SHC Athens, Tennessee manufacturing facility, and is a part of our Machine Shop department.Operator may set up and operate various CNC machines as company needs require. Summary: Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, drill presses, lasers, lathes, and mills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works from blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, verbal instructions, and/or engineering, tooling, or equipment information. Contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Works independently with minimum guidance in a team environment.
