Job Description
The bank teller is the face of ATC and responsible for rendering a high standard of service to all customers. Must be able to interact with customers and colleagues in a pleasant, professional manner, while conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the customers' needs. Applicants must be willing to perform all necessary job functions and meet the demands of the position and uphold all customer confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process personal/business checking and savings deposits in the form of cash or check. Verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back, and issue receipts of deposit.
Cash checks according to regulation protocol.
Accept loan and/or tax payments. Verify payment amount and issue receipt.
Process Money Orders and Treasurer's Checks.
Ensure teller station is properly supplied, balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks, count and roll loose coins. Maintaining the security of a teller station is imperative.
Balance and update savings passbooks.
Answer any and all customer questions, resolve customer problems, help with account statements, and refer customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
Ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company and regulatory policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Cash handling, and customer service experience is required.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the demonstration of effective listening and communication abilities are highly recommended.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel.
Communicate Orally.
Normal daily physical activities to include: walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to read reports and use computer.
Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.)

What does a successful first year in this position look like?
Completion of 90-day Teller training.
Impeccable dependability in regards all scheduled shifts.
Able to make qualified customer referrals as part of Retail Referral program.
Become proficient in all relevant banking systems as well as retail banking products.
Make minimal errors with regard to all transactions processed.
Hours:
When joining you will be scheduled 40 hours for the first 3 months. All applicants must be available to complete this program in its entirety. The part-time schedule begins after the completion of your first 90 days.
Part-time Tellers are typically scheduled between 30-35 hours per week and will be scheduled at one of the branches within the region on a week to week basis.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30- 5:15 pm
Saturday/ Sunday*- 8:30- 12:15pm
*Two Saturdays are required per month

Compensation range

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.00 - $22.60 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.

Job Tittle : Teller
Provides exceptional customer service to new and established financial institution clients, including cross-selling of products and services and cash receipt and payment services.
Provides a broad range of consumer services to clients of the branch, including accepting deposits, cashing checks, accepting utility bill payments, selling Cashiers checks, Money Orders, Certified Checks, accepting loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and other related payments. Processes night deposits and mail deposits. Processes all transactions within approved authority and operating policy.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all company consumer products and services in order to ascertain client needs and to sell in conjunction with those needs.
Adheres to operational controls including, but not limited to, legal, corporate and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of client bank assets.
Maintains an awareness of new business opportunities with clients. Actively refers clients to appropriate client service personnel.
Maintains an approved level of cash. Turns in excess and mutilated cash.
Prepares daily settlement and proof of cash transactions. Balances cash drawer accurately and efficiently on a daily basis. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary. Maintains an acceptable Teller Standard Score by achieving referral goals and maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Prepares reports relating to the function, e.g. currency transaction, BSA reports, etc.
Prepares and scans all teller work per guidelines.
Greets clients and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner. Directs them to the proper person or department. Answer general questions and provides general information on company products and services.
Assists with the coordination of inventory and assists in maintaining a beautiful physical environment in all public areas.
Provides safe deposit box services to clients as necessary.
Provides support in non-paying and receiving activities, e.g. new accounts, loans, etc. as necessary.
Balances and/or services ATM machines as necessary.
Performs vault duties as assigned, including ordering cash, maintaining vault book and managing target cash levels. Verifies and wraps coin for vault cash control purposes as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:
One year experience in a banking or customer service position preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum

Compensation range- $18-$19 per hour
