Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities. Sort and stack pallets and materials by size and grade utilizing APC methods Complete and turn in all required documentation in a timely manner. Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, State and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements. Clean and maintain all responsible work areas in an organized manner. All other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret imperial system. Successful completion of pneumatic nailer training. High school diploma or GED Equivalent Related experience is preferred. The primary duties of the Miscellaneous Labor position include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, material set-up, learning to operate a variety of production equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work-space. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, be able to be in a fast-paced, noisy environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery. The position requires the ability to work on any shift, overtime as needed, and on weekends.
