What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for the Engineering Specialist Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in engineering, mathematics, technical science, or related experience applicable to the position. 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and related career experience to include background as a space operator and/or planner. Experience in space-relevant command and control, operational planning, or battle management. Experience with operating or developing BMC2 systems. Strong oral and written communication skills.
