Job Summary
Defense Systems Group (DSG) provides analysis-based decision support to senior leaders on space architectures, policy and strategy, technology development, warfighter capability enablers, systems integration, defense industrial base, and threat reduction to help shape existing and future space missions across the national security space (NSS) enterprise. As the Senior ProjectLeader (Systems Engineering - Acquisition) supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) in the Space Safari program office, you will contribute to a team that is developing end-to-end solutions and implementing critical space control capabilities. The office supports Space Force by providing rapid responses to address dynamic changes in the operational space environment. Our mission is to deliver space programs on tactical timelines. Our job is to develop concepts, design prototypes, acquire systems, and perform operations. This position allows the unique opportunity to see your contributions impact critical missions in a very short time. You will work on site in the government program office, where you will have frequent interaction with the government and be a member of a tightly integrated team consisting of military, Aerospace, UARC, FFRDC, and SETA personnel.

What You'll Be Doing

* Act as the integration leader coordinating with senior level specialists and multidisciplinary teams, including ETG and xLab, in the rapid fielding (AI&T, launch integration, launch, on-orbit ops, etc.) of new space vehicles

Under the direction and leadership of the RQ-4 Product Support Sub-IPT Lead and NATO Program Manager, the Product Support Integrator will work with RQ-4 Product Support Team to ensure quality lifecycle development and logistics products and services are executed in accordance with the Program Statement of Work (SOW) and are within budget, schedule constraints, and closure criteria.
You may lead internal and external Teammates/Suppliers to ensure Program Performance, cost/schedule and quality objectives are achieved in collaboration with the program team. This position may lead technical coordination between other non-Product Support Program IPTs. The Integrator will work with the Customer Program Offices, Program Leaders, and Product Support Functions to ensure program requirements defined by the SOW are achieved within budget, schedule, quality, and closure criteria.
You may also coordinate and lead preparation of presentation materials to support Program Reviews and proposal efforts. Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Nuclear Project Manager to oversee and deliver a portfolio of complex nuclear infrastructure and capital projects, with annual project volumes exceeding $200M. As the main point of contact for nuclear facility projects, you will ensure safe, compliant, and successful project execution while managing all phases from planning through completion. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in nuclear project management (DOE or commercial nuclear), exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a passion for advancing nuclear technology and safety.
The Project Management Office (PMO) provides LLNL with engineering, design, estimating, construction, and project management services. PMO provides infrastructure services to enable cutting-edge research and development in the areas of defense technologies, global security, laser science, bioscience, and more. PMO offers cradle to grave infrastructure services to achieve reliable delivery of completed projects with priority on safety, collaboration, and a workforce working toward our shared vision.

You will
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned nuclear facility projects, representing the organization to clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
* Lead and direct all aspects of project management: scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management for assigned nuclear projects.
* Ensure strict compliance with DOE Orders, NRC regulations, industry codes, and internal safety and quality policies.
* Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project management plans, budgets/estimates, earned value management parameters, project authorization requests, change control actions, and project documentation suitable for audit review.
* Oversee project delivery from concept through completion, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
* Utilize independent judgement to Identify, assess, and manage project risks. Implement mitigation strategies and ensuring project delivery within schedule and cost objectives.
* Prepare and deliver project proposals, presentations, and status reports to a broad audience of customers, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, outside consultants, vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve complex technical and performance issues.
* Mentor and guide less experienced project managers, sharing technical expertise and best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications
* Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and significant related nuclear experience.
* Minimum 10 years of direct project management experience in the nuclear industry (DOE or commercial nuclear power), including oversight of medium to large-scale projects in highly regulated environments.
* Demonstrated expertise in DOE nuclear project management and/or NRC-regulated commercial nuclear project delivery.
* Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
* Extensive knowledge of nuclear industry regulations (DOE Orders, NRC, ASME, etc.), construction contracts, industry codes, and standards.
* Proven ability to interpret construction drawings, manage technical reviews, and oversee large project budgets.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project and SharePoint); experience with Primavera P6, Deltek Acumen Fuse, Active Risk Manager (ARM), and Cobra preferred.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a record of innovative solutions in complex nuclear project environments.

Job Summary
Defense Systems Group (DSG) provides analysis-based decision support to senior leaders on space architectures, policy and strategy, technology development, warfighter capability enablers, systems integration, defense industrial base, and threat reduction to help shape existing and future space missions across the national security space (NSS) enterprise. We are seeking a Satellite Systems Analyst (Project Engineer- Signal & Image Process Engineering) to join a high-performing team bringing technical skills to bear to characterize the fast-moving field of international space systems and its implications to U.S. national security space. Participate in a wide range of technical activities, work with technical intelligence, analyze global space programs, systems, and operations, and influence customer decisions on important National Security Space topics.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility at the LA AFB in El Segundo, CA, which requires access to specialized data. If the candidate has access to this data from another location, then full-time, on site work at that location would also be acceptable.
This position is not eligible for teleworking.
What You'll Be Doing
Responsively assess the potential impact of current worldwide space and counterspace activities on U.S. national security space operations
Utilize intelligence sources to perform engineering analysis to identify and mitigate space-based threats and threat enablers
Conduct detailed technical analyses of current and future space systems
Develop algorithms to study and/or fuse different sets of information and utilize data analytics to implement advanced processing and analysis techniques
Identify new areas of concern in Space Domain Awareness and proactively develop recommendations for further global data collection and research
