Defense Systems Group (DSG) provides analysis-based decision support to senior leaders on space architectures, policy and strategy, technology development, warfighter capability enablers, systems integration, defense industrial base, and threat reduction to help shape existing and future space missions across the national security space (NSS) enterprise. The Launch Systems, Operations, and Development (LSOD) team within the Launch Systems Division is seeking a well-qualified individual with demonstrated leadership and exceptional communication abilities to coordinate the continuous configuration evaluation of the Falcon Launch System. The Launch Systems Engineer will coordinate and maintain support for the evaluation of the Falcon launch vehicle design, operational capabilities, and mission assurance to ensure it meets the government evaluation criteria for non-recurring design validation and recurring verification. What You'll Be Doing Plan, execute, and lead MBSE and DE R&D initiatives and projects, ensuring integration of systems engineering best practices.
