Key Responsibilities Safely perform electrical installations including, but not limited to, mounting devices, running conduit, and pulling wire and terminations on a wide variety of systems Oversee multiple jobs at one time Assign technicians daily and weekly tasks to keep projects moving forward Work with project manager when issues arise to find the direction to complete the job at hand Recognize potential change orders and/or value-added opportunities as they arise Work with Project Manager to forecast man power needs on all projects when required Anticipate material needs to ensure projects stay on target Be able to work independently or with a team or apprentice. Assemble, install, and wire building automation equipment, fixtures, controllers, relays, current detectors, temperature sensors, actuators, etc. using a variety of industry recognized methods with the use of hand or power tools. We regularly work on low and medium pressure steam systems and boilers, and service some of the most advanced burners in the industry. You will be working directly with our customers on their systems and must have the ability to communicate accurate information. This ensures problems are addressed correctly and systems kept online and functioning. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of our industry. Gas and fuel regulation, pipefitting, electrical controls and troubleshooting skills are a must. They must possess a strong mechanical background and a broad understanding of materials that would be regularly encountered in the trade. We are constantly taking on new jobs and clients, the position is extremely dynamic. An ability to maintain mental clarity while under pressure is important, every system we work on has its own unique operating characteristic. The right candidate can quickly assess key operating and control measures that are in place for a given system. Key Responsibilities High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity. Maintain advanced combustion and steam systems according to manufacturer specifications. Ability to read complex electric schematics and diagrams Electrical S license is desired but not required. Effective professional communication is a must, both written and oral. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards required. Experience / knowledge of the HVAC industry is highly desired.
