Under the supervision of the Director of Children & Youth Services, the Program Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring and supervision of the After All program worksite which assigned. The Program Administrator is responsible for the safety of all students, developing, maintaining and evaluating the educational component of the After All program and ensuring professional development for all staff. The Program Administrator is responsible for supervising the Group Leader, Group Aide and Substitutes.
WORK PERFORMED
Direct and monitor educational program for After All:
Monitor development and implementation of the educational curriculum.
Observe activities to ensure staff's adherence to program philosophy, policies and goals are being followed.
Purchase supplies needed for the educational program and nutritional program.
Monitor and maintain appropriate staff to student ratios and provide classroom support as needed. It is understood that the Program Administrator will work in the classrooms at both After All locations from time to time to model appropriate interactions with students and assist in the classroom as needed.
Recruit, hire, train and evaluate childcare employees for the After All program.
Provide direct supervision to assigned staff.
Must be available to take calls regarding staff that are unexpectedly out and cannot come to work and arranging for appropriate coverage.
Coordinate placement of children entering and exiting the After All program.
Maintain internal controls by assisting the Director of Children & Youth Services:
Knowledge of the budgeting and grant management process to sufficiently substitute for the Director of Children & Youth Services as needed.
Develop and implement programs and policies at After All. o Establish, implement, and maintain procedures for building cleanliness or other duties as deemed necessary.
Establish and maintain procedures for personnel and building security, including HIPAA compliance.
Coordinate building safety and security, including supervising emergency evacuations, managing emergency supplies and procedures.
In collaboration with all After All staff, be accessible and attentive to the needs of families:
Work with families to provide support and information as needed.
Provide information and support to staff on issues regarding families. o Act as a resource to parents for behavioral and developmental concerns.
Address parent concerns and schedule parent meetings as needed.
Support organization and center fundraisers by planning and attending center-based events and supporting organization events.
Contribute to the monthly After All newsletter.
Participate in appropriate internal and external training programs, conferences, courses, workshops or other staff development opportunities for professional growth.
Shall be knowledgeable of the developmental status, health, special needs (IEP) goals/programs, background/families of all of the children supported within the Longview After All program.
Will maintain active communication with families of children and be responsive to any family or child's crisis situation (in conjunction with the Director of Children & Youth Services) to include the involvement of appropriate resources/agencies.
Respond to all concerns or questions in a prompt and professional manner.
Ensure routine communication with families from direct-line, supervisory, and administrative staff
Will ensure professional growth and development of staff in conjunction with the Director of Children & Youth Services:
Assist with accreditation and licensing for the After All program.
Maintain staff MD EXCELS records.
Assure all staff meet training requirements per MSDE licensing and accreditation requirements.
Assist staff with schedule changes as needed to assure attendance.
In conjunction with the Director of Children & Youth Services identify appropriate trainings to support professional growth.
Assist with four in-service days per year.
Attend classroom meetings, staff meetings, and other meetings per the direction of the Director of Children & Youth Services.
Work directly with the Directors of Employment & Meaningful Day, Personal Supports and Community Living to provide information about transition services and transitioning youth; Attend Transitioning Youth information sessions throughout Montgomery County.
Work cooperatively with Director of Children & Youth Services to monitor grants, specifically:
Reporting requirements
Site visits
Progress meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
Director qualified of a licensed MSDE childcare center or meet qualifications within a year, plus a Masters' degree in any field plus three years of relevant professional experience; or bachelor's degree in any field plus five years of relevant professional experience; or associate degree in early childhood with at least 15 semester hours of approved coursework plus seven years of relevant professional experience. Three years of experience must be at a supervisory level.
Must meet childcare regulations; must maintain at a level 6 or higher credential.
Must communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling.

Position Summary. Jubilee is a leading provider of Housing Support Services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Maryland. The Housing Support Specialist is a key member of a team of professionals who provide one-on-one services to help people identify and navigate housing opportunities, address or overcome barriers to housing, and secure and retain their own homes. The Housing Support Specialist will directly serve clients and assist the Senior Housing Support Specialists and team in advancing Jubilee's housing support program.
Responsibilities.
Provide Housing Support Services. Provide direct Housing Support Services to a caseload of approximately 50 people in line with each participant's Person-Centered Plan, service authorization, and goals for where they want to live. Services may include but are not limited to:
Housing Transition.
Conduct housing assessments and tenant screenings; collaboratively develop and revise Housing Plans; reassess housing needs and goals through monthly check-ins and yearly evaluations.
Support clients in identifying housing options, searching for available housing, scheduling, and facilitating tours, and processing required paperwork.
Implement the Jubilee step-by-step housing Move-in Guide to assist people with the move-in/transition process.
Housing Information and Assistance.
Support clients to make the best choice of housing to promote independence, taking into consideration their needs and focusing always on their preferences, health, and safety.
Support clients completing housing applications, including gathering required documentation, completing forms, and completing follow up to ensure the application is processed. As needed, request reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act and apply for/process housing vouchers.
Assist with applications for utility assistance, rental assistance, and other benefits related to improving housing affordability.
Maintain frequent communication, including a monthly check- in, with the client and members of their team to provide updates and information to support them in achieving their housing goals.
Tenancy Sustaining Services
Support clients to maintain their tenancy, including conducting tenant training on lease agreements.
Assist with monthly budget development and set up payment systems for rent, utilities, and other housing-related expenses.
Work with landlords and maintenance teams to ensure proper maintenance is completed.
Complete housing recertifications and lease agreements on time.
Training and Professional Development. The Arc Montgomery County's Inclusive Living Services - Community Living Division is hiring Program Manager 1 for role open within the division.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Community Living Services, the Program Manager 1 is directly responsible for the management and oversight of supports for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who reside in assigned homes. In conjunction with the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), a Program Manager 1 is responsible for the well-being and development of people receiving community living supports. The Program Manager 1 will provide supervision and guidance to lead staff and DSPs to ensure activities of daily living skills are implemented. He/she is responsible for ensuring homes project a sense of dignity, privacy and respect for the people living there and will ensure the daily management and operation of each home environment is in compliance with COMAR regulations, HIPPA regulations, DDA standards, State and County regulations and The Arc Montgomery County's policies and procedures.
Under the direction of and in conjunction with, the Assistant Director of Community Living Services, the Program Manager 1 will be responsible for ensuring that homes are fully staffed. Furthermore, the Program Manager 1 will assist with maintaining the set schedules for the homes, interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating DSPs. As a leader in the agency, the Program Manager 1 will act as a role model to their staff, promote quality service and will carry out the mission of the agency as it relates to inclusion for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job-Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision
Train and provide supervision to all DSPs assigned to home(s), including contractual DSPs, ensuring they complete their assigned duties appropriately.
Coordinate the scheduling of all staff working in the home, manage requests for leave, manage time and attendance, fill in/work a shift in the event coverage is not secured and flex schedule on an as needed basis to meet the needs of the house.
Conduct regular house meetings.
Perform annual staff evaluations of DSPs.
Inclusion and Engagement for People Supported
Facilitate and model inclusive interactions and relationships.
Ensure that inclusive choices and opportunities for decision-making is being provided to the people supported.
Ensure that people supported can access and participate in community activities and events, allowing dignity of risk with appropriate safeguards.
Management of Home and Oversight of the Needs and Goals of People Supported
Oversee the voucher process for all people served in the household and help manage their personal funds ensuring they have money for weekend activities, transportation, and personal hygiene supplies, and protect funds from theft or mismanagement.
Be the primary contact for families, contacting them weekly to keep them abreast of the events involving their family member and act as liaison to all agencies involved in services for the people living in the home, i.e., vocational and day programs, physician offices, etc.
Ensure that independence in all aspects of life, especially communication, activities of daily living, and community engagement is being promoted for the people supported.
Ensure healthy relationships are being established and promoted for the people supported to expand their social circles.
Ensure that safe and reliable transportation is being provided as needed.
Shall be onsite/available during all home inspections.
Health and Safety of People Supported
Responsible for the management of peoples' medications and medical supplies ensuring staff are following proper procedures for delivering medication as instructed in the Medication Technician Training Program (MTTP).
In conjunction with the Medical Appointment Technician (MAT), ensure medical appointments are conducted with medical care professionals as required by the peoples supported' s plan of care or as needed.
Ensure that the home environment is clean, neat and presentable at all times according to agency policies and regulatory agencies, i.e., licensing via the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ).
Ensure that health care assistance which supports safety and well-being is being provided.
Ensure that personal care assistance is being provided as needed.
Review 45-day and/or Interim Nursing Reviews and provide follow-up as needed.
Provide timely information and feedback to supervisor and delegating nurse related to healthcare concerns or problems.
Inspect service delivery environment as needed to ensure freedom from hazards and access to necessary emergency supplies.
Ensure that environmental issues and concerns are being reported and follow-up as needed.
Implement appropriate action during emergencies, including requests for emergency assistance and notifications to delegating nurse (as needed) and supervisor.
Documentation and Recordkeeping
Participate in the Person Center Plan (PCP) process to include completing the PCP documents as assigned on the PCP Responsibility Task List.
Assist people supported in preparing for and participating in meetings where their needs and goals are discussed, reviewed, altered, or updated, and ensure that each person is supported under the recommendations of the PCP.
Ensure that the people supported are being encouraged and supported in their identified goals.
Ensure goals are implemented and progress is being documented daily.
Ensure service logs in CIMS are completed for every shift in the home(s) and reviewed for content.
Oversee all required documentation including but not limited to: MAR, Fire Drills, Goals, Seizure, Water Temperature Logs, Weight and Bowel Movement Charts.
Ensure all incidents/issues, to include the Dimensional Medication and/or Procedural Error Reports, are reported in CIMS in a timely manner and follow-up as needed.
Maintain healthcare and other records as required, cooperating and consulting with other service providers as needed.
Reconcile funds, Personal Spending or True Link, on a monthly basis utilizing each person's financial record. (If applicable for the person supported)
Other Duties
Maintain all required trainings, and ensure assigned staff also maintain their training requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by Division Director or designee.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree; or an Associates' Degree plus two years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma plus four years of relevant experience.
Experience must include some supervisory responsibilities in the areas of documentation and people care.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations during work hours.
Must have the ability to transport people supported in a personal or agency vehicle when necessary.
Ability to fluently read, write and understand the English language and to effectively receive and deliver verbal and written communication.
Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.

The Arc Montgomery County has a part-time position (Exempt) for a Registered Nurse in our unique fully-inclusive Karasik Family, Infant & Child Care Center (KFICCC) program for individual interested in supporting children 6 weeks - 10 years old with special health care needs, disabilities and children who are developing typically. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care while implementing the medical component of the program. Also responsible for performing nursing duties for all children enrolled in the KFICCC program to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Work Performed:
Provide skilled nursing care to children identified as medically fragile; e.g perform physical assessments, administer medications, monitor and operate medical equipment, and provide emergency interventions as needed
Perform nursing duties for all children enrolled in the KFICCC program, assuring their safety and wellbeing as follows:
Check medical forms of all incoming children to ensure complete medical packets are submitted and update immunizations as required by childcare licensing
Administer Medications as needed
