A team environment looking to grow and provide quality care for individuals and their families. They provide an invaluable service to the community.
Sometimes in a non-profit organization the salary can be lesser than other places but the passion and dedication for the service provided give a sense of satisfaction and gratitude.
a supportive and family friendly environment
The leadership makes every effort to be supportive and listen to staff. They work for the betterment of the company.
Advocating for state wide salary and reimbursement increases.
Researching the company, thinking about my own personal and professional needs and how to balance them.
The Arc like many non-profit organizations in the human service field must contend with challenging budget restraints and low reimbursement rates. As a result, the compensation can be less than other organizations.
I think this is an area worth looking at improving. I do know that there is an awareness and efforts in the recruitment for this.

There are no pros working here. The only pro is if you can make the residents/ clients happy .
The arc does bot care about its staff or residents. They are doing things without the approval of APD and they get away with it because there are no check points.
Headaches, heartaches, migraines and exhaustion.
Mark barry is counting the days to his retirement and no longer cares, kelly long is a bully to the staff and does not have an understanding of what the residents/ clients need, Nancy g is un qualified for the position she is in. Word is she is writing all the reporta and iplans for all residents even though she does not know them.all.
Being totally replaced with people who care.
By not going to one. If you want to be overworked and unappreciated, this is the place for you.
