In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
* Assisting with the management of Compliance and Regulatory risks.
* Responding to and participate in the preparation of responses to regulatory requests when required.
* Work with internal audit, compliance testing and other internal stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Relevant experience in a similar Surveillance, Control or Compliance role.
* Experience gained from a Regulatory organization would be beneficial.
* Thorough knowledge of financial markets, including FX, fixed income and equity products.
* Strong working knowledge of the applicable regulatory principles and rules, such as market abuse, best execution and information barriers would be advantageous.
* Experience operating surveillance systems, investigating potentially abusive behavior and dealing with trading staff.
* Investigative skills and an analytical mindset are essential.
* Oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to understand compliance policies and process assigned tasks in accordance with procedures.
* Bachelor's degree or master's degree preferred.

About Financial Crimes Compliance
In Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC), you will play the lead role in identifying potentially suspicious activity, protecting vulnerable individuals, and safeguarding the integrity of the financial system. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
What We're Looking for in You:
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in addressing financial crime and fraud risk and have a deep understanding of the AML, Sanctions, and Bribery laws and regulations.
The candidate will need experience in drafting policies and procedures, conducting investigations, performing risk assessments, testing, and monitoring, third-party risk management, data analysis, and metrics reporting.
Experience building FCC related programs.
Experience working with payments or other financial services firms would be an advantage, but not essential.

Since 2000 and 2006 respectively, BlackRock has been providing Investment Accounting and Middle Office services. With a client base of 17, we handle approximately $2.7 trillion in assets across 250,000 positions. Our team processes over 300,000 trades and reconciles more than 1 million transactions across 1,700 portfolios annually. To ensure scalability, risk reduction, and exceptional client experiences, we have introduced OPS (Outsourced Platform Services).
At the heart of our outsourced services are the functional teams that support our clients' portfolios, assets, and transactions daily.
The OPS Cash Operations team is a core group within Tech & Ops of dedicated professionals who are essential to the investment process by ensuring that all middle office clients' cash & position data are accurate for processes including investment management, analytics, compliance, and regulatory. Cash types include, but are not limited to, equities, fixed income, OTC derivative positions (swaps, swaptions, FXs, and synthetics) and collateral. The roles and responsibilities will include actively managing risk and exposure for our clients by ensuring the investment book of record is reconciled with external record holders daily. The role requires an understanding of the mechanics of the reconciliation process, exception management, client service, troubleshooting issues, driving innovative enhancements, data analysis, maintaining documentation, assisting management in leading
processes, and recommending improvements to ensure efficient and accurate processes.
Role Responsibilities:
Ensure reconciliations are successfully completed and troubleshoot any discrepancies
Review cash exceptions daily including researching differences and resolving them in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure accuracy of published cash figures
Data analysis enhancing transparency, decision drivers and efficiency
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure issues are being appropriately reviewed and progressing to completion
Develop expertise around team control mechanisms and reporting
Identify and coordinate escalation of priority issues
Actively participate in all team meetings including review of key risk and process indicators
Understand and adhere to all regulatory requirements impacting the reconciliation process
Ability to evaluate systems, procedures and make recommendations for improvement
Participate in various efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation/ standardization efforts

Environmental Compliance Specialist

Basic Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with interpreting and maintaining compliance with applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) rules and regulations.
Assist in interpreting and maintaining compliance with facility air quality permits/authorizations (NSR, Title V, PBR) and regulations including, but not limited to: NSPS, NESHAP and Reg V.
Ensure the preparation, accuracy and submittal of state and federal reports, including but not limited to: semi-annual deviation reports, monthly/annual air emission reports, discharge monitoring reports (DMRs), TIER II, etc.
Assist in incident/spill response notification and reporting.
Assist and ensure compliance with applicable TCEQ and EPA water quality permits and applicable regulations.
Assist in managing and ensuring compliance with RMP requirements.
Manage and ensure compliance with SPCC requirements.
Assist in developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with environmental regulatory procedures, processes and practices.
Interface with federal, state, county, and city representatives during site inspections.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to the facilities.
Develop, assist and conduct training and education programs for environmental compliance.
Actively participate as a member of the Incident Command (IC) system.
Maintain professional certifications, as applicable, by attending various training, seminars and classes.
Assist with internal and external SHES and Regulatory Compliance Audits.
Participate in various internal and external meetings and committees as appropriate.
Interface directly with the Environmental Systems Supervisor and Terminal Management.
Assist in the maintenance of environmentally related plans, licenses, permits and certifications.
Assist in other areas as necessary, which may include TRRP, Waste Management, and others.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university.
Two years related experience and foundational knowledge in environmental regulations.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Emissions calculations experience a plus.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
