We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Quality Issue Management to join our Data Solutions & Services team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
* Be a leader managing Data Risk by supporting the Data Quality (DQ) Issue Management process for the bank
* Be the first line of defense (1LOD) for Data Quality issues impacting our applications and critical sources of data
* Work with second line of defense (2LOD) and Internal Audit to review required evidence to close these issues and actively support issue owners and responsible groups to get required information properly documented in our enterprise issue tracking system
* Review tactical and strategic remediation efforts of Data Quality issues to manage data risk for the bank
* Track open DQ issues and metrics of assigned Platforms to manage SLA compliance
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Experience with issues management in a regulatory environment (Financial Services is preferred)
* Strong analytical skills to review Data Quality Issue remediation plans and results
* Familiarity with Issue Management tools such as ServiceNow
* Strong Interpersonal skills to work with business and engineering professionals to resolve issue ownership and remediation disputes
* Good business writing skills to assess and improve the quality of Issue documentation

Performs analyses of data from multiple sources to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods and machine learning. Validates analytical techniques employed by other analysts.
Prepares and delivers expert level visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for senior leader stakeholders to implement.
Develops, owns and manages recurring analytic or reporting processes. Demonstrates expertise in data visualization and mentors analysts on data visualization best practices.
Develops the analytics community at Vanguard by mentoring, coaching and connecting others with resources and training. Stays abreast of emerging trends and external best practices. Participates and presents during scheduled analytics seminars.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of eight years related work experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Strong technical skills, inclusive of coding and applying new analytical methods/technologies to use cases
Experience with testing methodologies and experimentation (test design, results gathering and recommendations build out)
Excellent stakeholder management and persuasiveness through data
