This role involves handling cash, processing deposits and withdrawals, and assisting customers with their banking needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Transaction Processing: Accurately execute a variety of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, cashier's checks, savings bonds, and cash advances. Ensure each transaction is processed efficiently and in compliance with bank policies. Cash Management: Daily balance and reconcile the cash drawer, identifying and addressing any discrepancies promptly. Maintain optimal cash levels and ensure the secure handling of all cash and negotiable instruments. Recognize and report counterfeit currency in accordance with established procedures. Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service based on E2 practices, ensuring interactions with internal and external customers are responsive, courteous, and timely. Compliance Adherence: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations as well as all bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to BSA-AML. Associate's degree - Accounting, Business, Finance, Communications, and/or Marketing - preferred. Two years of previous cash handing or customer service experience. Strong communications and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking software.
