Qualifications You Bring:

As a Resident Aide, you'll have the opportunity to form meaningful connections with residents, helping them maintain their dignity and quality of life. Every day, you'll play an essential role in providing compassionate, person-centered care while making a lasting impact on their well-being. Your efforts will ensure that residents feel supported, respected, and valued as individuals.
What You'll Do:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support residents with housekeeping, laundry, and dining needs to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical, cognitive, or emotional status.
Escort residents to dining areas, activities, and appointments while fostering a sense of independence.
Contribute to creating a safe and supportive community by maintaining professional communication and collaboration with team members.
Provide comfort and companionship to residents, enhancing their quality of life through kindness and respect.
Qualifications You Bring:
High school diploma or GED with an understanding of the aging process and dementia-related diseases.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow policies, procedures, and safety rules.
Strong communication skills to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
Capacity to complete the Department of Human Services (DHS) required online caregiver training.
A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions with care and efficiency.
