• Provide site-based supervision, interventions, and consultation at select locations of the B&GCLB working directly with youth affected by anxiety and depression and its many manifestations
• Establish and maintain collaborative communication with key stakeholders from the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD), the B&GCLB, and the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), including the School of Social Work
• Provide administrative oversight to ensure the successful functioning of the SYR program, including consulting with Practicum Instructors from LBUSD, creating annual budgets, and managing expenses with School of Social Work and CHHS administrative teams
• Complete reports for key stakeholders at regular intervals throughout the academic year, present information on the SYR program to key stakeholders at collaborative meetings, and organize students and Practicum Instructors to participate in these presentations
• Schedule interviews with prospective BASW and MSW interns, arrange for them to be processed at their respective sites, and complete all Practicum Education paperwork to accept them into the SYR program
• Partner with an identified evaluation team to ensure pre- and post-test data is gathered, approvals from LBUSD and the B&GCLB are secured annually, and year-end evaluation reports are completed

Research and Information Services
The University Library supports the instructional and research needs of the campus community through its breadth and depth of collections, exceptional library faculty and staff-led services, and innovative use of library spaces. Currently, there are 19 full-time equivalent faculty members. Library faculty serve as subject-specialists and liaisons to CSULB's 63 academic departments and programs, collectively delivering over 800 instruction sessions a semester. We work independently and collaboratively to strengthen student information literacy skills through one-on-one consultations, one-shot instruction, embedded course instruction, and modular and scalable eLearning experiences. We ensure that library collections align with curricular needs and reflect emerging discipline-specific knowledge. The University library has one of the largest collections in the California State University System. About the Position
The Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Librarian is expected to support teaching, learning, and research in the College of Engineering and related programs. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison to departments in engineering, computer science, and technology fields, providing specialized research assistance, instruction, and collection development.
This position requires familiarity with discipline-specific research tools and emerging technologies relevant to engineering education and practice. Under the supervision of the Director, the Counselor's primary responsibilities include providing counseling services to CSULB students on campus. Required Qualifications
Earned doctorate, with university teaching experience, service, and a record of scholarly and creative activities equivalent to a tenured, full professor faculty appointment in one of the departments of the university.

Under the general supervision of the Director, SHS Operations, led by the Senior Lead Nurse, and according to established protocol or direction of a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, the Medical Assistant (MA) performs a variety of skilled Medical Assistant duties and gives direct nursing care to students in the Student Health Center.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for administering medications/immunizations and performing routine care and/or medical assistant duties which require training and skill; Assist practitioners in the delivery of health care services such as examinations, clinical procedures, and medical treatments. Ensure health care patient care areas are fully stocked, organized and clean.
Administer medications by mouth, intradermal injection, intramuscular injection, subcutaneous injection, including immunizations and tuberculosis testing.
Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration readings, height and weight and other vital signs. Assist in orienting/training new nursing staff.
Make appropriate entries in electronic medical charts (EMR).
Prepare patients for examination by a clinician and assist in the examination when appropriate.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with strong oral communication skills who can work well with others in a respectful and professional manner. They should be able to understand basic medical terminology, follow clinic procedures, and stay within the Medical Assistant scope of practice as defined by the Medical Board of California. Attention to detail is key for maintaining accurate medical records, and they must be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and SHS policies is essential, along with the ability to use sound judgment and consult with clinicians when needed. The candidate should be comfortable using computers, especially for health information systems, and be able to learn new equipment and procedures quickly. Most importantly, they should be committed to creating cooperative relationships with students, clinicians, and coworkers in a campus-based setting.

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Services HR Operations Manager, this position performs payroll and personnel processing transactions in the State Controller's Office database for a significant portion of time. Under the minimal or no supervision of the Manager of Construction Services (MCS), or Construction Manager (CM), the Assistant Construction Manager (ACM) works independently or in conjunction with the MCS/CM to simultaneously manage the construction of numerous, public works governed construction projects utilizing outside contractors and our Facilities Management construction staff. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of construction practices and procedures including scheduling (CPM, etc.) Field Instructions, Change Orders, Time and Materials, Cost Loaded Schedules, etc. Thorough knowledge of construction engineering methods, practices, and procedures. Thorough knowledge of building, plumbing, mechanical, fire, electrical, Title 24 (ADA), latest edition of the California Building and Safety Codes, State and Federal Codes, local ordinances, and other applicable codes. Ability to work independently to identify difficult construction issues, develop and negotiate solutions that represent the best interests of and minimizes risk to the University. Thorough understanding of personal productivity (Word, Excel, etc.) and specialized software utilized for construction management. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities Management and the immediate supervision of the Supervising Building Service Engineer, maintains, services, repairs, and inspects heating, ventilating, mechanical, and air conditioning systems, and the mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems associated with the decentralized utilities centers located throughout the campus and the Central Plant facility.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing and inspecting heating, air conditioning, water treatment and ventilating equipment (i.e. boilers, chillers, condensers, compressors, circulating water pumps, blower vans, valves, ducting, gauge).
Tests and adjusts, as required, chemically treats boiler hot water, chilled water, condenser and cooling tower water and other systems as needed.
Maintains and inspect, diagnoses and makes emergency repairs to steam, natural gas, water, air and oil distribution systems.
Will be called upon to periodically adjust air handling equipment to achieve air flow, temperature and humidity balances for individual rooms, building area or buildings.
Repairs and replaces bearing, shafts, seals, rings, and electrical wiring and installs mechanical system parts, gauges, valves, and pipes which require the application of skills and knowledge equivalent to the journey level in one or more of the basic trades worked.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate possesses a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems for both central and decentralized building plants, as well as expertise in building temperature control systems including electric, electronic, and pneumatic controls. They are well-versed in current facilities maintenance procedures, encompassing plumbing systems, electric motor control operations, and water treatment systems. Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, they interact professionally and civilly with the university community, co-workers, and supervisors, maintaining a safe and respectful environment. A professional image and demeanor are essential, and experience in a university or institutional setting is highly valued. Trade-related higher education and CFC certification are desirable qualifications that further enhance their suitability for the role.

Education and Experience
• Equivalent to a high school diploma and two years of journey-level experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of boiler, heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment and systems required.
• Four years of experience is preferred.

Licenses / Certificates
• BOC Level I & II Certification is preferred.
• A valid California driver's license is required.

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5,998 (Step 1) - $8,737 (Step 20) per month.
