Working position with overall shift responsibility for the physical operation, maintenance and cleaning of the ice arena and equipment. Facilitate ice arena operations as necessary.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform and/or monitor housekeeping to maintain Blake Ice Arena sanitation and appearance
Coordinate, monitor and maintain records of the activities of various groups using the arena
Maintain safe and secure setting for students, staff and guests
Perform resurfacing of ice surface on scheduled times; responsible for the ice condition
Perform equipment and building maintenance
Follow all opening and/or closing procedures to ensure ice arena is safe and secure
Perform other duties as necessary or assigned

Valid MN driver's license/ must pass DMV background check

Will be required to do own laboring and shoveling (including lift up to 70 pounds safely)

Operate ice refinishing equipment (motorized ice resurfacer and powered edger)

May be subject to being on-call; required to carry a cell phone or two-way device

May experience schedule changes based on the needs of the arena

Pay Range: $19.42 - $21.64
This salary range includes the expected annual salary for this position. In making a salary determination, we consider professional experience, applicable qualifications and other job-related factors. Based on these factors, a candidate's salary offer could exceed this range.
