This position is to work closely with the Branch Manager to provide a clean shop environment along with all the routine preventative maintenance on equipment with proper documentation, as well as repairs on all equipment as needed.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
Management of inventory, invoices and agreements, procedures and policies- prepare Equipment with the required accessories, calibration documentation.
Complete and maintain all paperwork related to the Rental of handheld electronic equipment. Track accessories for equipment. Perform Equipment Rental Demonstrations as appropriate.
Maintain dress code, safe and healthy work environment by following all company standards and
procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
Receiving Equipment returned from rentals- Inspect, receive, and clean rental equipment to ensure inventory integrity and equipment cleanliness.
Repairs and logs- Working with equipment vendors, maintain logs, and calibration files.
Report damaged and or missing inventory to supervisors.
Customer Service- Intake Customer inquiries for equipment rentals, order status, and general questions. Ensure that customers are educated and understand expectations and contract obligations.
Accessories and Equipment- Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location and properly accounted for in reports.
Schedule pickup and drop offs when appropriate. Receive, Prepare, and complete orders for customer delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to connect theory with practical industry applications to prepare students for careers in equine health, training, and management. Hands-on experience with horses in professional, instructional, or clinical environments is essential, along with a collaborative, student-centered teaching philosophy.
SCAD equestrian students are immersed in a creative environment where they fuse their passion for equestrian studies with cutting-edge technology and design. Students, staff, and faculty learn and work at the Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center, the university's state-of-the-art, 180-acre facility featuring two stable barns, three competition arenas, a covered riding arena, paddocks, and pastures-providing an exceptional setting for students to prepare for unique and fulfilling careers in equestrian studies.
As a professor, you will join SCAD and the School of Liberal Arts in providing educational experiences of the highest quality within a professional environment that cultivates knowledge, creativity, discipline, and character.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters or higher in Equine Science, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a closely related field.
Extensive working knowledge of equine anatomy, physiology, and health management.
Strong ability to communicate scientific and technical concepts in an engaging, practical way
Hands-on experience with horses in professional, research, instructional, or clinical settings
Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Experience or knowledge of related industries.
Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach.
