Open Sky's Support & Stabilization Services provide an array of services to support youth up to the age of 22 years and families that may be experiencing emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Services provided include groups, therapeutic services to help children remain in their home, preparation support for children reunifying with family, permanency support, skill building, increasing social connections, and providing families with community resources to meet basic needs. The goal of the program is to provide families with access to services that are tailored to their individualized strengths and needs which gives youth the greatest chance for safety, permanency, and well-being.
The Clinician will provide clinical consultation and training to the Support and Stabilization staff and use evidence-based practices to support youth and families through role modeling and practice. They will also identify and manage clinical risk including developing crisis plans, safety plans, fostering skills acquisition, and participating in risk management meetings.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor a system which ensures that each youth and family served has a timely and appropriate individual treatment plan (ITP); that the plan is reviewed and updated in compliance with regulations; and that the plan is effectively implemented.
Oversee and participate in the completion of needed assessments of youth/young adults served.
Participate in the on-call rotation when assigned and provide 24-hour crisis intervention with the ability to intervene decisively when necessary and in-person as needed.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Services field and previous experience working with youth and families in the social service field, required. Valid driver's license, acceptable driving history and reliable transportation, required. Bilingual candidates and those with lived experience highly preferred.

The clinician demonstrates an understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities. Licensed clinicians will assess progress against the care plan goals, make recommendations for modifications as needed and work continuously to identify and resolve barriers for individuals served.
Other Key Responsibilities:
* Establish, collaborate, and maintain relationships with applicable Coordination Entities, Emergency Service Providers, outpatient clinics, and other providers/entities to share information and ensure that the needs of the person are fully met.
* Provide crisis intervention assistance to people served through direct intervention or warm handoffs and referrals as appropriate.
* Oversee the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis Prevention and Response Plans.
* Build relationships with Persons and develop shared understanding of Persons' goals and the steps necessary to achieve goals.
* Participate in On-Call rotation and critical incident review process
Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Social Services field with current licensure or license eligibility, required.
* Previous experience working with adults with mental health challenges, required.
* Valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record required.

The mission of the MCI is to respond rapidly, assess effectively, and deliver a course of treatment intended to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize the crisis in a manner that allows the person served to receive medically necessary services in the community, or if medically necessary, in an inpatient or 24-hour diversionary level of care.
The MCI clinician works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, and recovery coaches, to provide core services including crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post-stabilization. The MCI clinician plays an integral role in the daily operations of the Community Behavioral Health Center's (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) component. Primary duties include telephone triage, crisis intervention (including evaluation, stabilization, referral and follow-up) on-site and in the community. In addition, the MCI clinician serves as a liaison between the MCI team and community providers for continuity of care.
Orientation to MCI is provided, with particular attention to diagnosis, safety assessment and awareness of resources dependent on level of care.

Our mission is to provide homes that are safe, nurturing, and address the individual's personal needs and preferences. Every individual in an Open Sky residential program is encouraged to play an active role in community life, whether it be by volunteering, taking classes, participating in group outings, or joining a health club. Our dedicated staff ensures that individuals have the necessary supports and skills to build a successful and satisfying life in the community while enabling individuals to lead meaningful and active lives.
Awake Overnight Counselors support individuals with a developmental disability and/or mental illness live as independently as possible, while providing guidance and performing various levels of assisted daily living skills. Counselors act as strong advocates for individuals served and understand the importance of community integration.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized service plans.
Assist with limited personal care, which includes direct care duties, occasional lifting, medication administration (with training), documentation, transportation, behavioral intervention, role modeling, and recreational activities.
Implement all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site.
Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation.
Review and complete all required documentation.

Flexible Support Services are designed to assist youth between the ages of 6 and 18 and their families in Central MA who are DMH-eligible and DMH-referred. The overall goal is to assist children and their family members to develop skills, strategies and supports to sustain the child in the family's natural environment and to help the child successfully function in the community. Services are highly flexible and individualized to meet the varying needs of children and their families.
Open Sky is seeking a motivated, teamwork-oriented Clinician to join our team to support youth and families facing challenges in a home based service setting. They will work alongside a dedicated, clinically sophisticated workforce and have opportunities to build clinical best practices and be a part of a long-term team utilizing the principles of Wraparound and other evidence-based practices. They also exhibit Open Sky's commitment to racial equity, justice, diversity, and inclusion in the work they perform.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Travel and conduct in-home family therapy throughout Worcester County.
Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Coordinate and monitor individual treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with the youth's treatment team.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Services field, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record required. Ability to work effectively with collaterals and partner agencies such as the Department of Mental Health (DMH), and educational facilities. Experience with mental health treatment of children or adolescents and their families preferred.
