Description and Responsibilities
Come join our billing team! Open Sky is looking for a skilled, part-time Behavioral Health Coder to provide coding support to the organization. They will audit clinical documentation for Evaluation and Management and psychotherapy services by validating coded data, ensuring services rendered support reimbursement and reporting purposes. The coder will also evaluate electronic health records to identify any documentation deficiencies and ensure all revenue is captured.
This position begins with a hybrid schedule and has the opportunity to become remote after the organizations introductory period is successfully completed. Must be currently geographically local to Central Massachusetts
Other Key Responsibilities:
Serve as resource and subject matter expert to staff.
Collaborate with clinicians on documentation discrepancies.
Support the VP of Accounting & Financial Reporting and the Billing Manager with projects related to third party billing.
Comply with behavioral health coding guidelines and policies.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
Applicants must currently reside geographically local to Central Massachusetts.
Certified professional coder with specialization in behavioral health, required.
3-5 years of experience in human/social services, healthcare, or related field, required.
Experience in a behavioral health setting with use of electronic health record, required.
Must have knowledge of payor guidelines and 3
rd
party billing practices.
Valid drives license and acceptable driving history, required.

The Young Adult Peer Mentor will:
Help individual's gain access to resources and community supports.
Collaborate closely with the clinical team and using lived experience as a positive model for individuals' served growth and recovery.

Community Crisis Stabilization Clinician - Weekends
The CCS Clinician works within the Adult CCS component of the larger Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) and is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments inclusive of the use of standardized assessment tools for suicide risk, brief crisis counseling, individualized risk management/safety planning, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and care coordination.
In this exciting role, the Clinician will:

complete concurrent reviews with insurance companies, case management and discharge planning

Floating Integrated Team Counselor - Mobile - Part Time
ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and to assist individuals in developing skills, establishing natural supports and resources to live successfully in the community. Working as part of the ACCS team under the guidance of the Program Director, staff will provide services and interventions identified in the Treatment Plan, including education, supervision, and direct supports to allow individuals served to maintain their physical and emotional health, live safely in the community, and develop the skills necessary to meet their goals. Interactions will be guided by an appreciation for those being served as unique individuals and adults, with the expectation and goal of mutual learning and growth. Services will be provided in keeping with the CLS Division Mission Statement, program policies and guidelines and consistent with Riverside and Department of Mental Health standards and requirements. Staff may be called during non-scheduled times to ask if they are interested in providing additional hours to a home. The Floating ITC will be connected to the mobile team office and supervised by the Clinical Director. They will demonstrate a knowledge and expertise in the various systems across the GLE programs and mobile team in order to seamlessly work out of any ACCS program, based on the needs of the programs at any given time. They will demonstrate flexibility in coverage day to day, and week to week, and utilize best practices in order to provide the best quality care to the people we serve in all ACCS programs. Mental Health Counselor - Group Living Environment

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will bring compassion, creativity, and a strong sense of collaboration to an environment that honors each person's strengths and potential while you:
Partner with residents to reach personal goals by offering guidance, education, and daily living support.
Help individuals strengthen their physical and emotional wellness while developing essential life skills.
Encourage self-advocacy, connection, and community involvement through meaningful interactions and supportive coaching.

Create an environment where people feel safe, heard, and inspired to envision new possibilities for their futures.

Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday evening schedule
Pay Rate: $21.37/hour

Required Skills
Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) required
Ability to work evening and weekend hours required. Must have valid driver's license and available, dependable transportation and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School diploma and one year related experience required
Experience working with recovery model, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions a plus
