In addition, the company engages in retailing home and garden products, such as lawn care products, gardening tools, hoses and sprinklers, bird feeders and supplies, indoor plants, indoor and outdoor pots, silk flowers, and supplies and accessories. Further, it operates wholesale and retail nurseries. The company was formerly known as The Bruce Company, Inc. and changed its name to The Bruce Company of Wisconsin, Inc. in July 1976. The Bruce Company of Wisconsin, Inc. was founded in 1952 and is based in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Ease of entry. Job consolidation. Starting pay

Cons of working at The Bruce Company

Veterans make almost exactly the same as new hires, expect 25c raises unless you threaten to quit, then expect 50c. Management makes comments about employees to other employees behind your back. Management discloses splitting of your pay between accounts in meetings. Management throws employees under the bus when beneficial to the company. Other employees can be quite hostile towards you
