We are seeking a high performing Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructor to support a client program in General Security. Our SME Instructors are highly motivated individuals whose primary responsibilities are to design, develop, maintain, and deliver instructional content for web-based and/or instructor-led courses and related training products; and nurture, build and sustain strategic client partnerships. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise in the development, delivery and maintenance of the General Security Curriculum. This includes working with client program leads, management, technical staff in the design, conversion, development and delivery of training and certification projects, curricula, and products.
* Assist the client Training Division in the duties associated with course maintenance and instructional support, for the General Security subject area
* Be assigned as an instructor and perform course manager duties
* Complete client Instructor Basic and Intermediate Certification as defined in the client Instructor Certification Manual
* Serve as course manager for course/products and instruct, prepare classroom, perform administrative support, manage classes and student accounts, and perform course maintenance
* Demonstrate mastery of General Security knowledge, skills, and policy
* Perform routine day-to-day course maintenance services to include Instructor led, eLearning course and products associated with General Security courses
* Instruct General Security courses to include basic and advanced instructor- led courses in accordance with the course schedule
* Instruct General Security courses related topics across the client curriculum programs
* Provide classroom support and preparation
* Provide instructional duties for traditional classroom and virtual instructor-led courses
* Serve as a SME in response to student and customer inquiries with respect to General Security
* Provide SME support for Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and for Beta testing of new products
* Provide assistance to the Curriculum Manager in all phases of the ADDIE process, to include file management, and extensive course review from cradle to grave
* Review training material/deliverables and provide recommendations on the accuracy of and relevancy of content of instructor-led eLearning, webinars and performance support tools (i.e. storyboards, instructor guides, participant guides, design plans, and other related material)
* Perform annual review of assigned courses and products
* Review Government material and polices to sustain accurate and relevant General Security course materials
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in the field of education from an accredited university. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, five years of experience as an instructor for adult learners, in formal classroom or via distance learning courses related to DoD Security Policy
* Experience in General Security
* Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
* Current Secret security clearance
* U.S. Citizenship

The Protective Force (PF) is accepting applications for the position of Protective Force Shift Instructor / Administrative Supervisor

The PF Shift Instructor provides course instruction to PF uniformed officers and support personnel to ensure knowledge, skills, abilities, and the desired level of proficiency is achieved and maintained in accordance with federal regulations, DOE directives, and PF policies and procedures.

This program activity is part of a coordinated method for health and wellness services that combines traditional care and complementary techniques in a holistic, patient-centered model, focusing on well-being, healing relationships, and evidence-based practices. We offer access to livestream (interactive) and recorded virtual online wellness activities as part of a continuous, wellness-focused program, fostering resilience and reducing burnout by providing wellness resources that improve quality of life, lower stress, and support whole-person care.
Fitness Classes courses/instructions/facilitations are delivered through a secure, easy-to-use online platform that ensures simple navigation and a smooth experience for users of all technical skill levels. Certified, experienced instructors will lead all sessions, customizing content to meet the needs of diverse abilities and special populations, including older adults, prenatal participants, and individuals with mobility or balance challenges. Fitness classes are structured group sessions led by certified instructors that focus on physical exercises like cardio, strength training, or flexibility. They often incorporate fitness modalities such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Pilates, or yoga to improve cardiovascular health, muscular endurance, and body composition.

Facilitate virtual and/or recorded sessions via a secure platform.
Deliver engaging, evidence-based wellness experiences aligned with VHA Directive 1137 and the Whole Health Initiative.
Customize sessions for populations with special needs (e.g., elderly, veterans with PTSD or mobility impairments).
Maintain cultural sensitivity to veteran populations.
Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and a supportive online environment.
Track attendance where needed and contribute feedback for performance improvement.

Qualifications
