Pros of working at The Carpenter Health Network

The ability to grow within the company is great. There are so many places you can work within this company. And if you work hard your able to move up quickly

Cons of working at The Carpenter Health Network

The cons are slim. I’d have to say it is the gossip that goes on with the nurses. And the nurses just being lazy and not helping are feeling they don’t have to do CNA work. Also during July-Aug lots of OT cancellations (have backup for these low census months)

The Carpenter Health Network benefits

The Paid time off. because sometimes The census is low and if you don’t want to go to another facility you can use your PTO instead of being canceled for your OT shifts They have always given their full time employees their hours for the week though there are 2-3 months out year where you will need backup plan for any OT.

What do you like best about The Carpenter Health Network's CEO and the leadership team?

Don’t know much about CEO but the new leadership team at the Lafayette sage rehab is the absolute best leadership I’ve ever worked for.

The last few months has been the best. I can’t say I’d do anything differently. The new staff is cleaning house on those not doing their jobs and rewarding those who do. They have brought a spirit in this place that makes you happy to come to work
