As the QA Floor Technician, Reporting to the Food Safety and QA Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that every product produced on the line meets product specification the first time it is produced by enforcing policies and procedures to support compliance with Food Safety, Good Management Practices (GMP's) and premium quality expectations. This position is also responsible for assuring the food safety and quality of all products deposited, topped, set-up, finished, and packaged during various shifts meet company demands for a bakery with more than 400 staff members that create delicious cheesecakes and memorable experiences. What we require: * Ability to make basic math calculations (i.e. percentages, measurements, etc.) * Knowledge of Product, Quality and Guarantee (PQG) systems. * Willing to be flexible with shift changes and possible overtime. * Good communication Skills. * Ability to read, write, and speak English. * High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience. The Production Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a specific business unit within the organization. Team Leadership and Development: * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. * Recruit, hire, and retain top talent, ensuring the team has the skills and expertise needed to achieve the business unit's goals. * Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Customer and Stakeholder Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. * Ensure that the business unit consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations in terms of product quality, delivery, and service. * Act as the primary point of contact for the business unit, representing it to senior management and external stakeholders. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: * Drive innovation within the business unit, encouraging new ideas and approaches to improve products, services, and processes. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep the business unit ahead of the curve. Compliance and Risk Management: * Ensure that the business unit operates in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies. * Identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect the business unit's assets and reputation. * Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards within the business unit. What we require: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. * Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a relevant industry, with a proven track record of managing business operations and driving growth. * Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. * Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. * Strategic thinking with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Experience with change management and leading through transformation is a plus.
