a lot of my coworkers are great, and it's nice to get half off most food each day. Sometimes management will comp free drinks or an occasional slice of cheesecake for you.
Very long hours, I usually work 9 hour shifts, awful pay for the amount of work you do, I get paid minimum wage and am constantly working at 100% so things don't fall apart, and like I said working 9 hour shifts. They say they will give you a raise at 6 months but I haven't heard anyone actually getting a decent one, if at all. You really only get one 30 minute break the entire shift. You'll usually be completely understaffed and receive very little help, they won't call anyone in to cover. Management will dump a ton of extra work on you when corporate is coming the next day even if you're completely understaffed, and won't help even though they say they will in training videos and orientation. Overall it's extremely stressful for not nearly enough in return.
Half off food. Sometimes you'll get amazing coworkers who care and will help out whenever they can.

Management
I wouldn't say that I have a favorite perk. I've been with the company for 13 years now and I don't see myself moving up any farther than bartending.
I love my team of co-workers! They really make coming to work fun.
It’s frankly just the fact that it’s food service. I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit, but I’m ready to put my degree to work!
THE CHEESECAKE!!!
The management team and the team members were awesome, they help me, instructed me, and taught me many things that made my job easier.
