Responsibilities:
As a Co-Op in the R&D Design or Development department, you will have the chance to:
Use state of the art tools and take advantage of training courses offered on-site.
Perform testing, experimentation, and validation to support product design.
Contribute to design solution activity through utilization of previously learned skills with CAD tools, simulation tools, fundamental engineering principles, and experienced mentorship from seasoned Team Engineers.
Assist in developing laboratory testing, interpreting data results, and recommending next steps.
Opportunities to receive intermediate CAD training, if applicable, including building simulation models, developing kinematics models, and performing stack-up analysis.
Responsibilities will increase with each rotation as you learn more by returning to school. Rotations are generally 3-5 months and availability for multiple rotations is desired. We offer a competitive wage and housing assistance to non-local students that live 50+ miles from the site. The R&D Design & Development Co-op program provides each student with a great support system, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the country.
All co-ops that qualify for housing assistance will receive a one-time taxable stipend to support the cost of living during the co-op term. Prior to the start date all co-ops will be connected with other incoming co-ops and provided with housing resources to individually secure housing arrangements. Transportation is not provided; all co-ops are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from the site daily.
Qualifications
Be enrolled in an accredited college/institution pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. (PhD degree may be considered)
Must have completed a minimum of two semesters in school at the beginning of the co-op in May 2026 (class standing of a sophomore or above)
Considered a student during the co-op term, must not have a graduation date prior to April 2026
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op term of 5/2026-8/2026
Have demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities.
Availability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the co-op term, if you are taking classes during the term all courses and coursework must be completed outside of business hours (8am - 5pm, M-F)
Previous internship or co-op experience in the medical device industry is preferred

Job Duties: Develop, execute, and oversee Quality and Compliance (Q&C) programs for Med Tech US field inventory within the North America Region, including Field Inventory Locations (FIL), Field Sales Offices, Loaner Sites, and Distribution Centers (DC). Support “last mile” delivery of surgical loaner sets support joint reconstruction and orthopedic customers across the US. Serve as a liaison with Quality, Distribution, Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain partners on distribution quality related matters to drive timely resolution of quality related issues. Identify and support implementation of improvement opportunities consistent with business objectives and the Enterprise Quality Standards. Define, implement, and validate quality requirements and systems in alignment with departmental strategies. Participate in and lead audits, inspections, investigations, and remediation activities. Ensure the Quality program maintains regulatory compliance. Provide quality support for existing and new distribution processes. Develop, implement, and review standard operating procedures. Establish and maintain relationships with NA DELIVER, DePuy Synthes Sales Inc., and other Med Tech Franchise customers in order to solve problems and meet changing competitive and regulatory environments. Execute and improve systems/processes in Inspection readiness; Commercial Quality including field inventory consignment and Loaner programs; Process changes; Validation, Calibration, and Preventive Maintenance systems; Delivery service issue trending; and Nonconformance investigation and corrective action plan development, implementation, and effectiveness monitoring.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Compliance Specialist IV-related occupation.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
About the Role The Vice President Business Development Oncology Transactions will lead Business Development activities for the Oncology franchise, J&J Innovative Medicine's largest and fastest growing therapeutic area. More specifically, this position will be accountable for leading the above-specified activities in the Hematological Malignancies and Immuno-Oncology (I/O) spaces.
The Vice President Business Development Oncology Transactions leads a team to identify, evaluate, and execute value-creating transactions in support of the Pharm Group's growth strategies across the end-end Oncology portfolio. Directs the search, due diligence, business case development, negotiations, financing, and communications to senior management to execute transactions.
Oversees the closing of deals and integration of assets into J&J. Also oversees divestitures of identified assets to enhance value creation of the portfolio. Can be engaged in renegotiation of existing agreements according to changing business needs. Helps to develop high external share of voice in the Oncology marketplace, furthering J&J Innovative Medicine's reputation as a partner of choice. Develops and leads a consistently high performing team Oncology BD team.
Partners with Therapeutic Area Leadership and Global Commercial (GCSO) teams to develop actionable growth plans based on gap analyses, competitive landscape reviews, and a continuous review of all mechanisms of action that are viewed as critical for growth.
Sources assets that continue to drive near- and long-term growth of the portfolio bases on gaps identified
As such sustains the ‘freshness' of the Oncology pipeline by adding new assets to replace those lost to development attrition and to ensure sustained growth of the business

Determines screening criteria and rationale for targeting new business opportunities in relation to J&J strategic goals.

This function also brings an objective view when evaluating the value of external compounds when comparing to internal investments
The function also requires continuous direct and face to face meetings with CEO's and other C-suite executives of global biopharma companies of various sizes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
An advanced Degree is required (Ph.D, MBA, M.S or equivalent). We are looking for a business development leader with significant experience bringing new compounds to companies. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to take personal accountability at the project decision/execution-level is required. Previous Business Development and licensing experience is mandatory. Knowledge of the Oncology space is a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $271,150 to $366,850.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The District Manager, Neuroscience will:
Be responsible for the development, execution of compliant promotion of all Neuroscience promoted portfolio products in all optimal sites of care across both outpatient and inpatient settings to approved health care professionals. This role directly supervises Sales Specialists within the defined district. Be responsible for development and successful implementation of a coordinated district business plan with targeted objectives to achieve sales and business results. Partner and leverage various supporting functions within Neuroscience Sales, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs, and Neuroscience Marketing to deliver on business goals. Be responsible for strong demand generation leadership with the Sales Specialist team with a heavy emphasis on the outpatient setting. Additionally, leads demand generation and care transitions execution within local community hospitals. Provide direction and management oversight to Sales Specialists for all Neuroscience promoted brands in addition to maintaining an expert knowledge of the approved clinical and HCC guidelines associated with these products to develop their skills and competencies.
