    Job Description Under the supervision of the Application Support Manager, the Application Analyst's is part of a team responsible for the ongoing support of business applications, including cloud-based solutions, and both package and custom solutions. The Application Analyst will become a technical resource on the supported applications and will learn and understand the key technical processes. The Application Analyst works closely with other IT staff and third-party vendors, as applicable. This position also participates in coverage of the Help Desk, as necessary, including weekend coverage. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years formal education or equivalent in IS field, with Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years Customer Service or Technical Support experience required. Minimum 5 years of day-to-day application support experience, preferably within healthcare environments leveraging EMR/EHR systems. Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks, Netsmart my Evolv, or comparable EMR platforms highly preferred; working knowledge of clinical workflows, billing integrations, and data interoperability a plus. Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and productivity tools, with demonstrated ability to extract, analyze, and visualize data using Excel (Power Query/PivotTables), Access, and/or Power BI (Plus) to support reporting and operational insights. Experience with Cloud based applications a plus. Ability to work both in a team and on an individual basis without direct supervision. Ability to work under pressure in a timely fashion. Proficiency with modern collaboration and cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint; familiarity with cloud-hosted EMR solutions and secure data handling best practices preferred. This position is for at least 13 hours a week, during weekends/evenings. Essential Job Functions Provide excellent customer service and crisis management by telephone, email and in person. Respond to requests for Release of Information (R0I) ensuring the information is gathered and released within required timeframes and follows New York State privacy laws. Process referrals and admissions to the Emergency Respite Bed Program including assessing youth for ERB level of care. Assist with processing referrals for residential programs by entering information into EMR and completing Clinical Risk (CANS) and Health Screens, as needed. Facilitate after hours EMR access by completing enrollments for assigned services. Run various agency reports including Utilization, Census, Referral and Shift Reports, as requested. Implement Hillside's emergency management protocol when appropriate in crisis situations. Triage callers according to need, successfully navigating agency on call system when needed. Document information accurately and timely in progress notes, shift notes, emails, and/or other documentation platforms in accordance with agency policy. Ensure seamless communication between triage team members when changing shifts.
