The reporter would be writing daily for CPs online platform, which covers both national and international news. The Christian Post is a non-denominational digital publication that covers news and opinion about church, ministries and non-profits, human rights, education, public policies and politics, entertainment, and general current events.
Responsibilities
Monitoring news and generating story ideas
Writing news, feature, and in-depth articles and reports
Conducting interviews (both in-person and remotely) with people of interest to our audience
Develop and maintain contacts with newsmakers and news sources
Cover national events (in person and remotely)
Requirements

The ability to stay calm, professional, and clear-headed under pressure.
Prior experience in a family theme park environment is a bonus!
Must be able to successfully complete CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid training as part of the role.

CP is seeking a driven, energetic, and innovative manager of Audience Growth to oversee our online audience across platforms. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with audience analytics and using data insights to create and implement audience growth strategies for acquisition and retention.
Requirements:
5+ years of digital audience strategy experience, with strong marketing analytics, content marketing, and online engagement skills
Proven track record of digital audience expansion
Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior executive leadership, department leaders and external partners
Ability to identify business growth opportunities and align strategies

Must work in-person in the Washington, D.C. office full-time
