**Your role at Clorox:**
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a Molding Associate position at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. As a Molding Associate you will be responsible for operating blow molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic containers. This role requires a thorough understanding of the blow molding process, including melting, extruding, and molding plastic. You will ensure set up, operate, and tend to plastic molding, casting, or core making machines to mold, cast, or tend to thermoplastic parts or products. Given the nature of the work, which involves high-temperature equipment and moving machinery, maintaining focus and being aware of the overall operation is essential.
Molding positions are hourly ranges from: $24.92-$28.30 (based on experience), with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system. In a skill-based pay system, associates advance by learning and using the job-related skills and knowledge acquired as they progress through each skill level.
Rotational Shifts: (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Candidate may need to be available on a rotational shift our hours include 1st shift: (7am - 3:30pm) 2nd shift: (3pm - 11:30pm), 3rd shift: (11pm - 7:30am). Flexibility with overtime on a as business needs arise.

**In this role, you will:**
+ Start and Operate Equipment: Initiate the blow molder and operate heavy industrial machinery, place materials into molds, load materials into production equipment.
+ Adjust temperature controls of heating equipment.
+ Material Handling: Unload supplies from trucks and rail cars.
+ Equipment Management: Operate, monitor, and adjust equipment along the production line.
+ Quality Control: Inspect bottles before, during, and to finish product to ensure quality standards.
+ Inventory Management: Store and retrieve excess bottles from the warehouse.
+ Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
+ Repairs: Conduct equipment repairs as needed.
+ Housekeeping: Perform maintenance work such as cleaning and oiling machines, Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds, using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material.
+ Reporting: Prepare reports and take inventory, maintain inventories of materials.
+ Data Entry: Enter data into computer systems. (Quality and Shifts reports).

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and Email.
+ Shift Flexibility: Ability to work different shifts should business needs arise (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
+ Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift.

About Our Internship Program:
Throughout your internship, you will have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training from our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into supporting the needs of Stanley Black & Decker both in the US and abroad. The interns will gain first-hand exposure to Stanley Black & Decker and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and collaborative.
The Job:
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support Industrial Design with key activities including:
Assist in delivering new concept direction, brand-specific aesthetics, and optimized ergonomic solutions for all new product development across a wide range of global brands.
Support other industrial designers by creating photorealistic renderings and animations of new product designs using 3D Cad and Product Lifecycle Manage (PLM) and Keyshot Rendering software.
Work with and support our UX/UI team. Projects will consist of on-product user interface, embedded displays, and digital applications.
Help drive breakthrough industrial design advancement through to our customers on various projects, utilizing the best technology available for the process.
Work with the Industrial Designers and other disciplines to create original designs that capture the desired intent of the team.
You will have exposure to several areas of the Industrial Design at Stanley Black & Decker. You will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross-functional team of professionals.
The Person:
The ideal Industrial Design intern candidate will have the following qualifications:
Be a rising junior or senior with a target graduation date of 2027 or 2028.
Actively pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or related field.
Familiarity with 3D CAD systems and an interest in surface creation.
Experience in 2D analog /digital sketching and rendering (Cintiq, Photoshop, Sketchbook)
Knowledge of parametric 3D modeling is a plus (CATIA, Solidworks, Alias, Rhino, etc.)
Successfully manages strong academics alongside extracurricular activities.

As an EHS Battery Safety Specialist here, you'll be part of our Towson EHS team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:
+ Develop battery safety programs and requirements related to research, new product development (NPD) and compliance testing for Towson Labs in accordance with the SBD Battery Safety Playbook and regulatory requirements.
+ Serve as the Towson EHS Team's representative in partnering with test, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate engineering controls into existing processes and facilities. Participate in all battery testing safety reviews.
+ Perform Risk assessment analysis on all aspects of battery testing on the site.
+ Participate in incident investigation associated with battery related events.
+ Conduct fire and life safety audits of new and existing battery areas and work with Engineering and Facilities to maintain NFPA compliance and best battery safety practices which include presenting findings to site management, including any related FM Global related requirements.
+ Conduct Battery Safety training, Labhood safe use training, etc.
+ Be a member of the Battery Emergency Response Team, participate in the emergency preparedness and be one of the first responding to an incident.
+ Be responsible for all battery recycling for the Towson, Mylander & White Marsh Sites, including development of the appropriate protocols to safely discharge batteries in preparation for disposal.
+ Function as Site Lithium battery transportation expert, maintain lithium-ion Battery, Hazardous Materials Dangerous Goods Transportation procedures and training programs for the Towson Sites.
+ Maintain and recommend battery storage programs on the Towson and Mylander Sites, including selecting and construction cell block recycling cabinets, completing inspections to verify compliance and performing audits to identify gaps.
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

A Machinist is responsible for safely repairing production lines, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting problems, preventative maintenance and quality checks while being involved in continuous improvement initiatives.

Your role at Clorox:
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a Molding Associate position at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. As a Molding Associate you will be responsible for operating blow molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic containers. This role requires a thorough understanding of the blow molding process, including melting, extruding, and molding plastic. You will ensure set up, operate, and tend to plastic molding, casting, or core making machines to mold, cast, or tend to thermoplastic parts or products. Given the nature of the work, which involves high-temperature equipment and moving machinery, maintaining focus and being aware of the overall operation is essential.
Molding positions are hourly ranges from: $24.92-$28.30 (based on experience), with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system. In a skill-based pay system, associates advance by learning and using the job-related skills and knowledge acquired as they progress through each skill level.
Rotational Shifts: (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Candidate may need to be available on a rotational shift our hours include 1st shift: (7am - 3:30pm) 2nd shift: (3pm - 11:30pm), 3rd shift: (11pm - 7:30am). Flexibility with overtime on a as business needs arise.

In this role, you will:
Start and Operate Equipment: Initiate the blow molder and operate heavy industrial machinery, place materials into molds, load materials into production equipment.
Adjust temperature controls of heating equipment.
Material Handling: Unload supplies from trucks and rail cars.
Equipment Management: Operate, monitor, and adjust equipment along the production line.
Quality Control: Inspect bottles before, during, and to finish product to ensure quality standards.
Inventory Management: Store and retrieve excess bottles from the warehouse.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
Repairs: Conduct equipment repairs as needed.
Housekeeping: Perform maintenance work such as cleaning and oiling machines, Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds, using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material.
Reporting: Prepare reports and take inventory, maintain inventories of materials.
Data Entry: Enter data into computer systems. (Quality and Shifts reports).

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years direct experience in Packaging, Molding, and Palletizing operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
Effective written and communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and Email.
Shift Flexibility: Ability to work different shifts should business needs arise (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift.

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
Transferable skills such as experience with packaging equipment, auto mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, electrical, or machine shop.
Enterprise resource planning ERP software - SAP software.
Office suite software - Microsoft Office 365 suites software.
Proven experience in operations, preferably with a military background preferred.
