The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Manager is responsible for leading the integration, management, and optimization of the MES at the Martinsburg Clorox Plant facility. This role oversees the interface of MES with SAP and other systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation. After implementation, the MES Manager will focus on system maintenance, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement, becoming the site expert on MES. Proficiency in PowerBI is preferred; if not, the ability to learn PowerBI is expected.
In this role, you will:
Lead and Collaborate across Manufacturing
Ensure MES dashboards deliver maximum value and are aligned with business goals.
Lead the design and integration of planning/scheduling and manufacturing excellence portions of the MES.
Develop data connectivity (e.g., OPC) between factory floor machines and MES.
Oversee the integration of MES and EWM Systems with ERP and other systems (e.g., quality and inventory management systems).
Provide MES technical guidance, governance, and troubleshooting support.
Enable site personnel to independently modify and improve the system after initial support ends.
Serve as the site's MES expert and primary point of contact for all MES-related inquiries.
Supervisory responsibility for local NSR
Collaborate and harmonize across the Litter BU
Lead MES System Integration
Coordinate with corporate resources, contractors, and site teams to ensure that MES meets site-specific needs.
Document and streamline work processes to support effective adoption and utilization of the MES.
Coach and train site personnel on MES system use and best practices.
Ensure end-to-end business processes are executable through MES, escalating any issues as needed.
Drive System Improvement and Optimization
Provide TRACC (Continuous Improvement System) support with analytics, digital workflows, and dashboard capabilities.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and future MES module additions.
Lead and participate in training sessions to expand MES system knowledge at the facility.
Develop and implement action plans to drive system efficiency and productivity.
Participate in a Community of Practice to maintain reporting standards and share best practices across the enterprise.
What we look for:
5+ years of data analytics experience
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or planning environments.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in relevant technical field, supply chain leadership, business management or technical field preferred.
Direct experience with MES; implementation experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly on the shop floor.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with experience integrating MES with SAP or similar platforms.
Project management and change management experience
Ability to train others and review and customize training materials.
Problem-solving mindset: Ability to assess and resolve complex system issues quickly and efficiently.
Automation and controls knowledge: Experience working with PLCs, automation, and industrial control systems is critical for optimizing MES functionality.
IT and Systems Integration: Strong understanding of system architectures and the ability to work with IT to ensure smooth system integration.
Data Analytics: Ability to use data analytics tools to monitor system performance and support continuous improvement.
Vendor and contractor management: Experience in managing vendor relationships and coordinating external support during system implementation or troubleshooting.
PLC Controls experience and familiarity with data connectivity protocols such as OPC for machine-to-system communication.
PowerBI experience preferred or ability to learn it.

Your role at Clorox:
The Process Operator will work in a dynamic team-based environment with the responsibility to safely produce the highest quality cat litter in the correct amount at the right cost. Department tasks will include working safely at all times without exception, unloading rail cars, operating and maintaining process equipment, monitoring associated controls and instrumentation, performing quality checks, implementing improvements, and contributing to the overall success of the plant.
The Process Operator will own all aspects of their area and equipment, including implementing safety and quality improvements, completing machine setups and product changeovers, and achieving production and cost targets. The Process Operator will work autonomously and flow to the highest priority work, collaborate across department boundaries, participate in team-based activities, and ensure compliance with all plant procedures, policies, and standards.
In this role, you will:
The Process Operator will:
* Adhere to all safety and quality standards and guidelines and repair and/or report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or injuries in a timely manner.
* Operate, monitor, and adjust the equipment within the Process Department as needed.
* Review and reconcile system data as needed, create reports, and perform root cause analysis.
* Deliver against daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
* Leverage technology as needed to stay informed (ex: daily review of email, production schedules, troubleshooting guides, job aides, etc.)
* Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, mechanical and electrical equipment to the extent allowed by position training/certification.
* Ensure all area housekeeping tasks are completed and workplace organization is maintained.
* Participate in the creation of training documentation as well as support the training of new Operators.
* Complete routine and preventative maintenance for area equipment.
* Maintain inventory storage areas, including participation in cycle counts and/or wall-to-wall inventory counts as needed.
Hourly Compensation: $24.93 per hour plus $1.05 shift differential
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload and transport raw materials, equipment, and supplies from semi-trailers and railcars.
* Transport raw materials during product preparation.
* Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
* Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
* Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing, using hand tolls and other devices.
* Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing.
* Tend or operate machinery that produces product, regulating machine flow, speed, or temperature.
* Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a Team Lead or Manager.
* Perform quality checks and raw material inspections, collecting samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
* Unload, transport, and supply raw materials to spindles, conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices.
* Stock and sort product for process machine operation and replenish process supplies.
* Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of process products to standards, inspecting and removing defective products.
* Stack component items, or wrap protective material around each item, and pack the items in cartons or containers.
* Other duties as needed to support business operations as directed by Management.
Working Conditions:
