PORTER SUMMARY: The Porter will perform any combination of light cleaning duties to keep Rolling Hills Country Club in a clean and orderly manner. The primary duties of the Porter include cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning equipment, and mats, as well as keeping all areas well stocked with the necessary supplies. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to keep RHCC in a clean and orderly manner and to make sure all required health standards are met. * Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts. * Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. * Replenish supplies, such as linens and bathroom items; restock janitorial supplies. * Keep track and continually update inventory of supplies. * Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. * Dust and polish furniture and equipment. * Sweep, scrub, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing machines. * Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing, as necessary. * Other duties as assigned. Conduct safety walks in and outside of the casino, reporting, documenting and mitigating any safety related issues. Recognize and report on any OSHA related violations. Position Summary Blackhawk Country Club is seeking an experienced line cook to help prepare food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of kitchen and restaurant experience, with a strong emphasis on culinary expertise and kitchen operations. Experience with pizza oven operations is a plus. The Cook will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking menu items to perfection, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Preparing food including cleaning, cutting the ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks Plating foods based on senior chef's guidance Working with the expo and servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and are on time Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking utensils, and storing the equipment at the end of shifts Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulation Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
